However, this is Mayfield, and Ninetails was always a few fries short of a Happy Meal - losing her right eye again AND getting back all her scars in one go is enough to make her an unnaturally gleeful fox. See, dem scars are more than just a testament to her toughness. They're a link to her master; they bring back memories of her power; they are both trophies to flaunt and skeletons to hide; and they are finally hers once again.
