Mitchell taught me how to play Magic. In high school some of my friends played, but I wasn't cool enough to play with them, so nobody ever taught me. But Mitch thinks I'm cool, and he let me in on the sekretz of Majick da gatherin'.

I am the coolest evar.

We went to Delia's family lake house for the 4th of July and drank ourselves funny and swam and ate hotdogs and played volleyball and canoed and made fun of our underaged coworkers being way too excited to be drinking warm beer.

I feel the need to learn sign language so I can talk to Delia's husband who is deaf. I only know these words in sign language:

so at the froth of july picnic I got to use sign language! I lit a cigarette and Joe made a joking sign that smoking was gross. and I got to say, "I'm dumb." and he said, "no, you're OK."

so now I'm learning a few signs a day a la youtube, the great teacher. today I learned: t, r, k, p, in, out, above, below, "I'll see you soon" numbers 1-20, boy, girl, mom, dad, grandmother, grandfather, pronouns, and on/off.

In the 6th grade I went with my buddy caitlin to sign choir for a few weeks and quit. I wish I had kept up!
