Halfway through watching the Burbs we decided to go to Burger King. 10:30 pm Monday night, we were next in line at the window when we were about to pull up, when the Drive-thru lady leans out the window, looks at the ground, and reappears with a metal pail, lowers it out the window on a rope made of tied-up trashbags, aims at something, and beats it on the ground repeatedly. She looks, aims again and bangs it on the ground some more. Apparently satisfied, she reeled in the bucket and shut the window.
8:30pm this Saturday, May 10th- Nightlight Chili Cook-off featuring Mighty Zorgon, Robobilly!, Dash, and Anal Anguish. Hopefully it will be a CD release party for Zorg, but we'll see. It'll be about damn time. Either way, it'll be a kick-ass show.
Been wig-shopping for mom, and it is a HOOT!!
Oh yeah, I'm in greensboro for the time being, mom got the cancer so I'm here bing substitute-mom. Laundering and cooking and driving and such, not a bad gig even if it is living with the parents. Not sure how long I'll be here, but it'll probably be another month. The chemo starts the 12th, so.. we'll see how everything goes.
Mitch is still in Greenville, all crazy. Maybe starting work at the Hospital soon as an OR assistant. It's been 2 months out and he still doesn't wanna go to work, but it'll be about time anyway. And it'll give his ass something to do, insurance, and some money- so he can't complain too much. Though I wish he was playing and writing more... but who knows?
