I am still in shock from last night.
After picking up sandra, cassie and chris from the train station we headed to jones beach for the pre show bbq. It was a really nice time. It was nice old faces and seeing many new faces as well. Barrett was the cook of the day. And I came to the rescue with bringing tinfoil. About 50 people came and even the dj from saul williams (CX KiDTRONi) stopped by for a little bit.
we get let into the veune about 4:45, that played down in it and the big comedown for the soundcheck. general public didn't get in till about 6 or so. Me and sandra had section A (middle section) third row. It was fantastic, hung around for a little bit before peaches went on. Walked over by the tour buses and saw josh freese and his son.
Some lady was walking trent's new dog, she's so cute. Saw Alessandro once again, we were walking directly towards each other before I realized it was him, he was pretty busy so we just smiled and he had to go on his way. Aaron was walking around also, Got to speak to him for a bit and me an Larissa got a random hug from him. Got to see geno again (tr's personal trainer) he's quite buff. Rob sherdian was walking around all day and night snapping pictures and whatnot. It was a great time. Peaches were really cool, she's one bamf. Bauhaus was so amazing and peter murphy still got it. I'm so glad they played bela lugosi's dead.
When nin hit the stage everyone by me went crazy. It was great. Trent looked like he was 25 again, and also a bit skinnier then when I last saw them in march. Jeordie aka herp kept giving me "the eye" and well im just not that into him. About mid way into the set a security guard flashed a light on me and sandra and I got nervous but it turned out he moved us right up to the front row center seats, two people to my right were dead center. I was in complete shock and couldn't be more thankful. I have never been that close even when I was dead center on the rail for the philly and AC show. Pays to be nice and not a nag. The set was great and im glad they played down in it, GDML, and la mer/ into the void. since there was no after party and they were going up to saratoga today no one really stick around too much.
this was probably the best show next to the msg one back in the fall I have ever seen.
next batch of shows will be in Pittsburgh, Irvine CA and mt. view CA.
I'll post pics when my SD card decides to not be a bitch and when rob sheridan uploads them.
