Best. Weekend. Ever.
I woke up saturday morning at 5 am. Got ready, packed up my stuff and headed to Atlantic City around 7am. I flew there at 90 mph in the car. I made great time got there at 10:30am. Met up with Sandra, Alex, Glen, Cassie, allout, Denise, Barrett, Larissa, ami, Carol and many others. I met many new people including Alexander, who was really cool and also a photographer.
There was so many things going on in AC this weekend. Parade's, conventions, concerts, shows, ect.. I decided to get some air and walk on the boardwalk for a little while. I saw a fimular face. It turned out to be Alessandro! him and Jeordie was walking on the boardwalk together, trying to be incognieto I didn't want to bother them so I just said "thank you for great tour so far." He smiled and said"You're very welcome, you'll enjoy the show tonight." and winked at me. Ally (alessandro) has always been the sweetest the few times I've met him. Josh Freese was walking around the hotel I was staying at, he's a funny guy.
Saul Williams opened up for nin. He had only a half hour set but man, he is fucking amazing and has a way with words I have never heard before. NIN was supposed to go on at 9 but the fire deparment came because right as it was going to start one of the smoke machines set the alarm off, so it started 45 minutes late. Trent was pissed off about that.
They opened up with MR. selfdestruct which was amazing. I was front and center aganist the rail. There was emense eye contact between me and trent as the show started. They played home!! I was so happy. Aaron cracked his head durring MOTP and could have called the show off but he hung in there like a fucking trooper.
Everyone aroune me was looking out for me and helping me out. Especally Alexander and Carol. I almost passed out many times. People were getting pulled out of the crowd like crazy, and I've never seen before, even these 6ft 5 guy behind me. I couldn't take it anymore though I was going to passout and throw up so I had to get pulled out, there was only 3 more songs left anyway. So I walked over to the left side. And sat down for a little bit. There was random drunk 30yr olds hitting on me, but that happens at shows a lot, so whatever.
I stood up and rob sheridan was right there! I started talking to him for a little bit about the lenses he uses. He's a nice guy. I got asked by a few rodies for a lot of "things" for just a fucking guitar pic, fuck that..
After the show I met up with everyone again and some new faces. I got invited to the after show with the band so I went there. Met Alessandro again, soo sweet! I love that man. Partyed till 4am For Denise's birthday and at the after show. And then we went to go pass out in the hotel room. I love my friends, Alessandro Cortini, Trent Reznor and this weekend was FANFUCKINGTASTIC!
