a testament to my klutziness
so last night i was at work (what else is new). and i am such. a. klutz.
here's why.....
1) i was dragging the mop behind me to clean a puddle and grace joked that i was being followed by something. i turned to look and i tripped over, what else, the mop. it was in fact the mop that had been following me.
2)matt (not my brother; my mom won't let him work there) tripped over the broom and dustpan (how i don't know because it was in the corner and not in his direct or indirect path) and kicked the handle out of its slot. i bent down to fix it (in front of the heavy swinging door and one can only guess what is coming next) and matt came back out front except i was in the way and matt pushed the door straight into my head and knocked me down on my ass.
3)my timmies has a cute calico cat (whoa alliteration) that comes around because we feed it old stale plain timbits, tuna (it eats around the celery and onions; i think it learned its lesson of eating veggies from hacking on one), and other various meat products. so anyway, i went out to feed it some milk and tuna and tripped onto the drive-thru lane and proceeded to dance some pirouettes (sp?) in front of a big green pickup (they laughed i think).
so that is what happened at work last night and you can all laugh all you want, but i am soooooooo sore and bruised. and i have to go back tonight. great....
after i got home from work last night, i showered and decided to not write this until now. i also started reading microserfs by douglas coupland (yay! girlfriend in a coma)! i have decided that he is one of my favourite authors and his random off the wall humour reminds me of rachel for some reason (in a good way). so this was at like, one this morning and it was all i could do to not laugh out loud and wake up my family (minus dad who is in trenton and neglected to tell me that he was actually going to trenton). the book is about computer programming nerds who work at microsoft somewhere in california. the narrator, daniel, was discussing his living conditions. he lives with five multi-millionaire computer programmers who are in their late 20's (they are multi-millionaires because they invest in company stocks or something). so anyway, daniel was discussing the types of cars they drive. he mentioned a toyota supra, a pumpkin-coloured hornet and a gray lexus, acura and two tauri (he said "tauri" is nerd plural for taurus). the "tauri" part is what made me laugh because it reminded me of peni (adam speak for penis; i think only rachel will understand that). and another side note about the book, daniel lives with some dude named Bug Barbecue. for some reason it amused me greatly.
this morning my beauty sleep (hahahaha.... beauty sleep) was ruined by my brother. he woke me up by jumping on me. (this is also why i am sore). i'm not sure but i may have broken ribs and ruptured some sort of vital organ. so long story short, i had to drive him to school (aaaahhhh.... W.O. too pov to pave the entire back parking lot and now it looks junky but according to my father the outer parts of that school always looked junky with weeds etc). after that happened, i decided at the last minute (which meant cutting lanes of highway but not cutting cars off.... i don't think) to visit my mummy at work and she was happy to see me.
hmmmm so nothing else to write about... but it is time to go watch the cosby show (so funny) and eat some banana cake with cinnamon cream cheese icing. so bad, but so good. then i gotta go to work, but i have thursday and friday off and friday is BOWLING!!!!!!!! I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!! Jessy <3 bowling!!!!
