It still surprises me how two-faced we can be. I find it hard to tell the difference between being polite and being two-faced if you're just going to turn around and snigger at people after being so polite to them. I don't know, is being fake for the sake of saving discomfort better than just avoiding such situations? Obviously im not saying that people should pin others to the wall with icy looks because that's their true feelings but when i think of someone smiling and laughing with someone one minute and then whispering insults to their friend the next, it bugs me. I am thinking of the times i have done it too and looking back on it i feel ashamed, why couldn't i just finish the conversation and move quickly away instead of raising my eyebrows sardoncially and supplying my friends with entertaining looks of distaste?
I hope i get over this soon, i doubt this attitude will get me anywhere far in the real world
Bullet Boy is on BBC2 on Saturday at 9, it's worth watching if you haven't already.
