I haven't properly been on lj for the better part of a month, I think, and have been equally distant from ebay, y!j, etc. which means I've fallen delightfully behind on Keldeo things and probably missed plenty of floons and rapidash. Oh well! I had a few things preordered from places, so random packages kept me going through everything.
I mainly got sidetracked by training - I was called up by another store and asked if I could train some new baristas for them since they apparently had some issues with one of their learning coaches... I'm fairly sure she is now no longer certified and transferred to some other department. Still, training newbies after such a long time was fun, and gave me a chance to work on training with my other coaches (the other part of my training this past month!). I just have to finish up and certify three of my baristas as learning coaches, and then we'll move on to getting them through advanced store training so I can possibly take a vacation without getting a dozen phonecalls. I'll also be able to delegate more often!
Speaking of vacations, I also had fun planning out some long-term financial goals, like the exact date I'll no longer have car payments, a trip to Disneyland (though maybe Disneyworld? I planned the amount for Disneyworld, it just depends on how things fall out for school and work), and ~*~new house downpayment~*~! I really want my own place, and sooner than later, so I've started looking around, getting a basic idea of what monthly bills would be like in the areas I'm looking at, thinking about things like furniture, appliances, etc. Hnnng. I have a stupid love for shiny new appliances and antique furniture, so planning/restraining myself will be... interesting.
Blargh, and I've gone and done this entry so late that I really need to get to bed for my lovely early morning tomorrow. Going to skim through my f-list and catch up with things then.
