lunchbreak!
ahaha, it's amazing how things can snowball/go wrong all at once.
someone called in Thursday, so I had to work a half-shift, and only got half the things shipped I needed to. then that night, right as I'm going to bed (like... midnight, as evidenced by me posting that late XD), I get a call saying that the opener has pinkeye. we call the only person available to open, he works 4:30-7am when I arrive, I work the rest of my shift alone with no breaks. I somehow manage to send both my ingredient order and one for another store who missed their order day, and get this weekend's schedule rearranged. our shipment arrives... mixed with someone else's (I don't know who's) and I'm missing 5 ingredients that I needed to receive so I wouldn't run out. spent more time calling and running around to other stores transferring product, missing when the PO is open since I had about 2 hours worth of driving to do.
I opened today, but still can't get to the PO since I have more stores to drive to =__=; but tomorrow's the last "odd" day due to the pinkeye, and maybe someone will call me back saying they have extra frappuccino syrup for me, which would save the week.
speaking of this week... we have 2 hour demos Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the new Blonde Roast coffee (which I find gross... flavor's too robust, with no bite). I have jury duty on Thursday, too! which means no day off except for tomorrow, when I have a bell performance for Epiphany >.< ugh, I just want to sleep. but I need to plan how I'm going to get the rest of these packages out Monday/Tuesday, and do general house cleaning (in my room, haha). I want things gone!
I'm feeling better about space in my room. I went through my smaller shelf that serves as a nightstand and reorganized. it made space for some DX pokedolls and pokedoll merch! in turn, I weeded out some of my old dvds, books, and some horse toys that were on that shelf, only keeping my grand champions and a tiny Princess Gwenevere horse (well, I think it's from that series, but I don't remember). there's still a lot to go through, since I feel it's time to weed through some clothes, too, and maybe part with some beanie babies (I'm only really attached to the cats, dogs, horses and unicorns, so it shouldn't be so bad). I also need to weed bags/purses, extra MLP toys... so many things ;A;
lastly, I finally think I can make a Christmas gets post with all the things from online/irl friends! XD yukitsukihana came over yesterday to pick up some kids, Lapras pokedoll, and my present to her, and brought me the TLU hardbound comic volume! as well as an amazing Nazgul figures X3 loving it. now I have a wraith to put on my shelves, a list of most of the other wraith figures, and I don't have to open up any of my TLU comics to read them! (okay, I actually opened my Comicon exclusive cover, but I couldn't resist!) I also got a munna zukan and Ponyta pog-thing from shiningmew! oh god, the munna zukan piece is the best thing ever akjhakjh so tiny and round! ♥ ♥ ♥ XD it almost looks like a piece of candy or something. my mom wants to steal munna, but also commented, "the other one looks like a fetus." I lol'd.
