(no subject)
ffff I really need to get to bed because I have inventory in approximately hours, BUT, I thought I'd scare away my new friends update on my weekend.
On Friday, there was an armed robbery at work! \o/ Nobody was hurt, but there is now a chipped stone next to the door because the security guard chased the robber, who was armed with a real gun and not afraid to use it. He only got $800, but we got his face on camera and his license plate. HAH.
Saturday we got almost all of our holiday merch at work, so I spent 12 hours putting it all away in our store room, which is not much of a room any more and more like a wall of boxes. GUYS, THE CUPS ARE SO GODDAMN PRETTY. There's a children's storybook/tumbler/mouse plush, but I don't really like it as much as the reindeer plush we had last year. Also, the plush were packaged in questionable positions that gave everybody dirty minds. XD
And today there was church, and a trip to the zoo yay! I didn't get to see all the animals I wanted to, because I was there with my grandparents who are old/slow/easily tired. We were there for two hours and only saw maybe a fourth of the zoo? A couple exhibits were closed as well - I wish they'd close the Asian elephant exhibit, since it's really sad to see one elephant just standing there looking for something to do :c
I woke up to dog face, who was sleeping on me, instead of next to me or on my feeties.
Sleepy koala is sleepy.

Fearsome water bug! There were live fish hanging out below, presumably to become a snack.
THESE VELVET ANTS WOULD NOT HOLD STILL. They are really pretty, but whenever I took a picture they'd turn and face the glass.
I did not want to go into Monkey Village. You go into the exhibit with the monkeys, and are warned not to touch any of the railings/ropes, because the monkeys like to pee on them. Also, don't stand under the trees, because the moneys will pee on you. Stay 3 feet away from the monkeys, or they will pee on you kill you dead.
Otters were sleepy too.
You guys like zebra picspam, I hope.

I got to the savanah area just in time for the giraffes to run away for foods from the giraffe encounter. I didn't get to do the giraffe encounter, because we had to leave since grandparents were tired.
Some of the turtles in the lake in front of the zoo. They make my Sherman look like a baby, since they are all 10-14 inches long.
This carp was at least 2.5 feet long, however. I want this fish :c There's also a colored koi that size, but he moved under the bride too fast.
This turtle was only a couple inches shorter than that carp. Wtf. There was an alligator snapping turtle bigger than this guy found in the lake earlier this year.
Bed now, I swear.
