There is a trio of tiny
golden-crowned kinglets darting about in the big maple outside my office. I tried for a picture but the little buggers won't hold still long enough to get one in the frame let alone focus.
The link indicates that we are in their winter non-breeding area so they must just be passing through on their way north. Other googling reveals that they weigh about as much as a nickel and are so small that bands for them were not made until 1993.
