DUDE!? Glad you're alive... even though the idea of a compound fracture makes me feel a bit queasy... damn rice-rocket drivers... never looking... although I bet he's thinking the same thing about motorcycle drivers... That sucks about Faith... just don't let it discourage you from riding instead of driving (even though the season's almost over). Oh and in taking the hit head-on and not going into oncoming traffic you probably helped save other people from being hit/injured/killed too... hopefully that helps you feel a bit better.....
I knew he would get lots of "see!"'s and "I told you so!"'s and I just wanted to balance out the equation. Not that I even ride a motorcycle. I just like balanced equations. Besides, maybe it was God's way of bringing Chris a proper level of respect and trepidation for motorcycles as a way of keeping him safe from now on. I had something else to say about how a man needs to get over the fear of an accident like that in order to live a normal life and still feel like a man, the whole "get back up on that horse" thing... but it seems kind of cliche... so I'm not gonna mention it.

Let's hope to God that is so. Especially considering he said something similar to me after some guy grabbed me at York Mills. But who are we to know? Only he can make that decision.
You just did mention it. I'm not against trying things again after being burned or broken (or both) ... take, for example, the way I give EVERYONE second chances NO MATTER WHAT they did. I'm all for the respect.
That being said, I'll walk, take trasit, or call cabs from now on.

Nope. Don't let anyone else's horrified reaction discourage you, either.
