Drive by posting to let you all know I'm still alive. I'm an M3 this year, which is so much work its making the past two years seem like high school. I spend half of my day in class and the other half in the hospital going on rounds with the docs just watching them work, asking questions, answering questions. (Since I'm still not a doctor, I don't actually get to touch anyone (except to draw blood or do really simple scopes and sticks, etc) by order of the hospitals malpractice insurer. Its a very different experience but its so much better than sitting in a classroom that its not even worth trying to compare them. There's piles and piles of coursework, too, so my sleeping & eating habits have become very irregular. Good practice for residency, I guess.
