Lists Part 3 - Disney Moments
This is it, kids. In just two short days, I'll be down in Florida, gearing up for my marathon. In Peter Pan, you need to think happy thoughts to fly. Well, in my case, I need to think awesome Disney moments to power my run. Originally, I was going to do a top ten list, but since this is a marathon, which is 26.2 miles, here are my top favorite 26.2 Disney moments. Spoilers away!
.2) Kim Possible comes back from cancellation for another season (only counts as .2 because it's a behind the scenes thing)
26) The Mickey Mousecapade video game
25) Darkwing Duck is killed or becomes a ghost or something and only those who love him can see him, including Morgana (Darkwing Duck, "Dead Duck")
24) Wilbur goes into the future and is introduced to the Robinson family (Meet The Robinsons)
23) The end sequence of Hercules, where not only is he recognized as a hero by the very stars, but Phil is recognized as a trainer (Hercules)
22) Mowgli leaves Baloo and the jungle for civilization (The Jungle Book)
21) Alice meets the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and the Dormouse and joins their Mad Tea Party (Alice in Wonderland)
20) Pinnochio's encounter with the Blue Fairy (Pinnochio)
19) Sid gets freaked out when the toys come alive (Toy Story)
18) Pete dresses up as Aphrodite to seduce Hades, who says s/he looks like a big, hairy pita, Mickey reveals he's a big, hairy Pete, and Hades wonders what kind of club Mickey is running (House of Mouse, "Suddenly Hades")
17) Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable kiss for the first time (Kim Possible, "So The Drama")
16) Abu single-handedly takes down a T-Rex (Aladdin The Series, "Much Abu About Something") and also a two-headed dragon (Aladdin The Series, "The Seven Faces of Genie")
15) Finally returning from his World Tour with Elisa, Bronx, and Angela, Goliath tells Hudson about the other gargoyle clans they've met, and Hudson is happy they're not the last of their kind (Gargoyles, "The Gathering" part 1)
14) Beast is restored to his human form (Beauty and the Beast)
13) Aladdin and Jasmine get married (Aladdin and the King of Thieves)
12) Scrooge McDuck becomes the richest duck in the world while simultaneously estranging himself from his family (The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck #11)
11) In the future, a janitor in the Darkwing Duck museum tells his epic story (Darkwing Duck, "The Secret Origins of Darkwing Duck")
10) Owen is revealed to have been Puck in disguise all along (Gargoyles, "The Gathering" part 2)
9) Becky falls in love with a ghost (Talespin, "Her Chance to Dream")
8) Magus dies fighting the Weird Sisters and lays where Arthur once rested (Gargoyles, "Avalon" part 3)
7) Eric tries to guess Ariel's name (The Little Mermaid)
6) Merlin fights Madam Mim in a Wizard's Duel (The Sword in the Stone)
5) Pumbaa farts and makes the grass wilt (The Lion King)
4) Ariel sings "Part of That World" (The Little Mermaid)
3) Dash learns to run on water (The Incredibles)
2) Aladdin and Hercules meet and do the typical heroic misunderstanding battle thing (Hercules, "Hercules and the Arabian Night")
1) Realizing he can't break the spell and turn Jasmine back into a human, Aladdin transforms himself into a snake to be with her (Aladdin, "Eye of the Beholder")
