DVD Time!
Okay, so DeepDiscount's got their sale going on (now until June 22nd, 20% off, use the password SUPERSALE or whichever, there are a handful of them).
I think I'm going to do two orders, a DeepDiscount order, and then an Amazon order for the upcoming DVDs. I'll be placing my orders this weekend. Here's what I'm thinking:
So the DVDs that are coming out after June 22nd will be Amazon. Namely, the new Futurama movie, Batman: Gotham Knight, The Batman season 5, and Teen Titans season 5. In addition to that, I'm going to order that complete comic collection of Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer. I prefer my comics to be something I can actually hold and not read on a screen, but to have every single issue at my hands? Sounds cool, and if it reads well enough, I may look into getting X-Men, Spider-Man, and Avengers collections.
Speaking of comic books, the next Invincible hardcover I need is already out, and the next Absolute Sandman and the first Starman Omnibus are coming out, so I may throw one of those in the Amazon order as well.
DeepDiscount's a little tricky. Since Buffy and DCAU stuff are done, I can go back and get stuff that didn't take priority before but is already coming along. Stuff like American Dad, 30 Rock, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Mystery Science Theatre 3000. And even though I said the show was never that great, I still think I'm going to get Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes. It's not that expensive, it's done in one, and a bunch of the episodes weren't aired in the US and will be new to me. I know, I know, I'm pathetic. I want the complete Dr. Katz, but with all I'm juggling, that may be too expensive at the moment. Hercules and Xena aren't even on there, but I do need to get more Lois and Clark.
Later on, Freakazoid, Birds of Prey, and DC Filmation stuff will be released, I may make a late August purchase for those.
::sigh:: Okay, that's a lot, and I still feel like I'm forgetting a few things...thoughts are appreciated.
