Irritation showed on Myungsoo’s face, but no one knew the difference between that and his regular face. For the third time in a row, he found melted chocolate in a place where chocolate shouldn’t be. Today, it was wedged between the couch cushions where Myungsoo’s phone escaped to from his pocket.
Staring at the streaks and clumps of chocolate on his phone, Myungsoo wanted to throw it into the sink and buy a new one. Too bad they were endorsing this phone, and he didn’t have enough saved up for a new one.
Maybe I have some from the fans, he thought to himself. But he was too lazy to go digging through his gifts for phones. For now, he would settle for finding out who kept leaving the chocolate in these seemingly random places.
The first time was in his jacket pocket. He’d just pulled it out of the dryer and slipped it on, enjoying the warmth until he stuck his hands into his pockets. He’d never forget that squish of melted chocolate on his fingers and underneath his nails as long as he lived.
The second time was in a slightly more obscure place: the bathtub. He was undressed, ready to take a shower, and then squish. Right underneath his foot and between his toes. His eyebrows, at that point, were in danger of becoming permanently furrowed.
Since then, he’d been watching the members closely to see who had an affinity for chocolate. He saw Dongwoo with it once, but he finished the entire thing in three bites and threw the wrapped into the garbage. He saw Woohyun carrying some chocolate from his fans, but he stuck those in the freezer as soon as they got back so he could “preserve their love forever.”
Sunggyu probably didn’t have the teeth for chocolate, and Howon probably didn’t touch the stuff because it wasn’t manly enough for him, leaving Sungyeol and Sungjong.
Myungsoo was leaning more towards Sungyeol and was about to confront him when he saw Sungjong with a bar of chocolate. He ate two pieces then wrapped it back up and stuck it into the pocket of his hoodie, except it wasn’t his hoodie, it was Myungsoo’s.
“Sungjong,” Myungsoo said with warning in his voice. Sungjong looked up and at Myungsoo with wide eyes, like a deer in headlights. He grinned at him sheepishly before taking the chocolate bar out of his pocket and placing it into his backpack.
“Sorry, hyung.”
