HAPPY NEW YEAR 2005
Well, I intended my first post of the year to be on the first day of the year....but you know how things go.
Happy New Year to all my LJ friends and all my Jasons'. I met another one.
He's a great guy and I am looking forward to getting to know him more.
I have also met a Garrett and a Christopher. They are all nice guys, but I have decided to remain friends with them all and IF anything developes between me & one of them, at least I still have my friends. Actually, the whole reason behind it was that when I meet a guy I want as a boyfriend, it turns out as friendship. So I have decided to knock Cuipd on his ass and reverse the dating process.
I also have been doing really well on Weight Watchers this week and only went over my points once! GO ME!!! This is going to be it, this is going to be the year that I shed all of this excess skin..ie: fat...and become the drop dead gorgeous super model that has been dying to strut his stuff!!! 8)
So 2005 is off to a very good start and hopefully will remain so for the next 11 months. But as they say, all good things must come to an end. But there is a line from the movie "The Crow" that I love.
"It can't rain all the time"
Also Dolly was quoted once as saying:
"You have to go thru the rain to get to the rainbow."
Well, I have been drenched for so long, that I intend on getting to my rainbow!!!
