R.I.P.-Christopher Reeve
I have spent the last 48 hours recovering from the flu.
I knew I was getting a cold, I always get a cold when the seasons change. Friday night I walked with my friend's daughter in her homecoming parade. Saturday I went out to get some cold/sinus medication and then Saturday night it hit me...HARD! Everything that comes with getting the stomach flu hit me that night. But now I am feeling better and may actually make it in to work tomorrow...
Also, a Superman, both on & off screen died yesterday. I loved watching Christopher Reeve in the Superman movies. My condolences to his wife and 3 kids as well as his mother. He will always be remembered for playing the man of steel, but over the last 9 years, he was the man of steel. He was determined to walk again and had been making progress. He was the leading champion and activist for stem cell research. I am sure that his family and friends will continue to lobby on his behalf.
