BALLANATION
I was on a cosmic journey again and I was listening to DJ Dean's BallaNation 2004 mix and this is what happened.....
The dance floor and walls were covered with visual effects like the energy ball you touch and electricity comes from it, Milkdrop (I seriously recommend downloading this from Winamp), and other visual effects that I can't even explain in this world. The DJ platform was extended out from the wall which was the center of all creation that existed in this club I experienced. The dance floor was under it and the people I met were just there to live for the moment and experience the rapture from the rave. The ceiling had spinning lights and it morphed into another dimension. I didn't jump in the ceiling because I loved dancing to the music for the moment. Everybody was dressed as a club kid and it was so beautiful!! There was so much energy from the people dancing and the music hitting so hard that you could've shot a music video in there. BALLANATION was so big that it became THE music festival and dance celebration of life. Everybody who truly loved being alive came to BallaNation and experience "ballanation" itself to fully enjoy life. This was a world within itself. A sub-culture where one must find oneself to fulfill the meaning of life (and that is to live (and I mean LIVE!)) People used the term Ballanation in their everyday vocabulary. I was influenced by this idea from DJ Dean, who spins Trance in Germany, and his songs called Ballanation. Everytime I listen to Ballanation, I get new ideas about conscious thinking, being alive, how I live my everyday life, my martial arts training, and my art work. My latest idea was reflection and refraction in Sculpture II. This was greatly influenced by the color and light experience from the rave along with space/time interplay and fractal images. Most of my ideas sprout from Constructivism as I listen to trance music. I get in my superior state (where I am comfortable, at peace, clear of mind, clean and pure of spirit, and I am experiencing harmony and balance fufilling Oneness with all that is) and actually see the things around us and appreciate them.
