This seems to be a common sight lately; here's Ramon waiting in the Nexus, and looking rather excited in doing so! He bounces on the balls of his heels, looking hopefully over the crowds, waiting for a glimpse of his recently-ghosted best friend. He hums happily to himself as well, overall appearing to be in a very good mood

"And I'm certainly ready to go anytime you are. You just need to lead the way! Also, Araña's coming with, if that's all right with you." Seemingly at the mention of her name, four red Spyder eyes peek out from underneath Ramon's hat. "It seems right that she gets to see her homeworld again, don't you think?"

He follows the transparent Mynci closely, still grinning like a fool the whole time. He might even skip a little! It's sort of cute how Vex is the one sure thing that will bring Ramon's silly, childish side back to the surface.
"Do you have any idea of what our plans should be when we get there, or are we just going to, as they say, wing it?"

It's several moments before he's done gaping (he even turns in small circles to look all around their current position), and he looks a little bewildered when he recalls that Vex is talking to him. "Huh? Oh, right! Right. Let's go and get you this, er, paint brush so you can be returned to your purple, tangible glory." Though he's still puzzling over how a paint brush is the answer. Or how one caused this problem in the first place. He'll get to see in due time, he's sure, how this works. But that does bring up another thing he can at least ask about right now as they walk to wherever they need to go!
"So how did this happen to you? The whole ghost issue? You never explained it when we last saw one another."

With that said, the castellan is peering openly at any and all other Neopets that might pass them as they make their way to the bank. This gets a lot of nervous (or rude) looks in return, but Ramon doesn't seem to mind, nor does it seem to deter him. After having to stop and wave cheerfully at a particularly surly-looking Scorchio that didn't seem to appreciate Ramon's staring, he's catching back up with conversation with Vex.
"You sure are on the butt end of a lot of practical jokes, Señor Mono. I'm going to have to teach you one of these days how to stand up for yourself." He attempts to poke Vex playfully here, but he's already forgotten he's not tangible, so his finger just sinks into the Mynci's head like it was smoke. Oops.

Once inside the bank, there isn't any less gawking either. Especially at the teller. It's not everyday you see a somewhat overweight dragon creature wearing a business suit. When the proper monetary amount is counted out into his hands, Ramon turns over the little golden coins, examining them from every side.
"So these are your currency? Neopoints? Heh! I like them." He's wondering now if it'd be okay to pocket one or two of them to keep as souvenirs, but then again, this is Vex's paint brush money, so probably not just yet. Maybe he'll get to keep the change?
"And of course I know what a paint brush looks like." This is followed by yet another childish sticking out of the tongue. "Just lead the way once more, Señor Mono."

He's currently picked up a book on Kiko medicine and is paging through it with rapt interest. It's put down after the leafing through it for a few minutes, and another is promptly picked up. This next one has the title 'The Lonely Grundo'.
The shopkeeper, a red Elephante, appears to be watching Ramon closely. Very closely.

"Just keep walking. And don't! Don't look back." Hahahaha, oh Ramon, what did you do. Though the Elephante is talking heatedly to a cloud Chia now, who seems to be trying to get the other pet to calm down.
"He was just looking for an excuse to be mad at me, that's all." Yes, because that will clearly explain and absolve whatever just happened. Ramon hurries to duck behind a group of chattering Lennies. There, cover. "Let's go...over there." And he points clear across the market, away from the angry shopkeeper.

"The sign says they have paint brushes and that we should inquire about them! Let's do so, shall we?" He still honestly can't see what's so hard about buying such a simple tool, or why it should ever cost so much. But then again, yes, it's already been proven in this short span of time that Neopia is a foreign, strange place.
At the booth, there's a bored-looking brown Gelert behind the counter. Ramon seems positively delighted by this. Dog people! Omg! "Hola! What can you tell us about paint brushes ( ... )
