In general? Oh, that's easy. This right here's a city called Template. And the main attraction is dragging people from various worlds to it without us even knowing it until it happens.

Not sure. None of us are, actually. Just that it seems some of us who are from a Template might end up with a double who -isn't- from one. And vice versa for those of us who aren't from a Template. 'How' and 'why' are two questions you won't be getting answered in regards to this city.
