Satisfaction*

Hello guys! Let me tell you that today I finally felt a great satisfaction at work! You see, I had one of the most complicated calls so far and I actually did it! I only asked for a repetition once and I could interpret everything without second thoughts! It lasted 40 minutes approximately and this person wanted to make a withdraw from her retirement and she was asking all this information about taxes in the U.S. so the client was explaining her how the percentages were, how much they were going to reduce in federal taxes and how much for special taxes in California, making contrast with other states and giving her hypothetical scenarios with mathematical operations and numbers and percentages. I'm not going to lie, I thought I was going to die but somehow I did it! I suck at percentages btw [give me polynomials and I can do it/shot] so imaging me hearing all those operations... I was lost in interpretation/shot. And numbers, I hate numbers, so hearing all those number made me sweat but I had my air conditioning so I was happy XD

Anyway at the end of the conversation the client was so nice that he also made me a compliment, I thought I was gonna cry/shot. He  mentioned especially how the hell I could remember all those numbers. To tell you the truth I was surprised myself but this client was really nice, he made me smile. And now I don't remember all the information about taxes but damn, that system is so different from here, though I have never thought in taxes before ^_^;;;

And this is actually the second time I had a good time interpreting, the other day I felt really good helping someone who was asking for psychological assistance, but it was different because while the conversation was somewhat easier in terminology it was hard on an emotional level because this person broke in tears in a moment. Thankfully at the end she got all the information she wanted for counselling.

And even if you hear/read this don't doubt that tomorrow I'm gonna hate my job again :3 /most positive person ever!
