It's the end of the school year, finallly, and I just want to take the time to reflect on some of the things I have learned:
1. you should probably tell your roommates everything that bothers you, when it bothers you, not weeks down the road.
2. going abroad means having a 2.5 gpa, so you should probably have that before you start hoping and planning.
3. geography means never having to do work
4. geography means you SHOULD, however, pay attention in class
5. Spanish is easy
6. hora de cafe is probably the greatest hour in the week
7. having your sister on campus isn't always the worst thing
8. visiting your sister when you are drunk at 2am IS a bad thing
9. don't go to health services, just go to the hospital
10. wanting to move your room around more than once tends to get people annoyed
11. printers should always have ink
12. going home is a priveledge that most people don't have, do not over use it
13. when you get money, try hard not to spend it in one day
14. wearing heels in NH makes no sense
15. turning 20 means beating teen pregnancy
16. accept change
17. singing in the shower is a great stress reliever
18. freaking out about tests is a stress inducer
19. it isn't helpful when a prof. tells you that you don't have quantitative reasoning skills
20. the decisions made today will only effect tomorrows outcome...not the rest of your life, don't be afraid to do something different
so all in all, this year was an emotional rollercoaster. i think i've grown a lot, but also learned that it's quite alright to stay 6 years old at times. i miss my friends and i miss my family, but i won't ever be in undergrad ever again like i am right now. i haven't been siezing the day ever, and i think that david moscow and christian bale would be sad if they heard me say that (probably one person will understand that reference). anyway...i need to go eat breakfast and get out of my pajamas
