More, um... GCS. Big surprise.
Ok.
I should be working on "ICOE", one of my fan-fics, but I can't help myself! I really can't. The GCS is my LIFE. Even when I'm not thinking about it I'm thinking about it! (Unconsciously, mate. Y'know what I mean.) I love Xan so much. And Dell! Oh, and Anna and Titan, Hans, Dierdre, Ulla, Hippomenes and EVERYBODY!
I was talking to the IZ the other night-- when he stopped by to get those CDs of his-- and he STILL isn't happy with my names. The one that bothers him most is Rudolph. He says it's too... reindeer-y. Heh. He did suggest some pretty good changes, though.
For Elias, he suggest Aubrey. And I do like that, so I'll put it in my "mind-box". Erm... for suggestions and stuff. Right. *sigh* Anyway!
For Ivan, he suggested Dylan. That one I'm not so sure about. He'll probably stay Ivan for now.
For Kai and Basil, he never did come up with anything I half-way liked.
Heh. And he's also adamant about changing Ulla's name. (That just ain't gonna happen, but I do listen to him for politeness' sake.) He suggested Agatha and... something else, but I... oh! Beatrice. That's right, he also suggested Beatrice. Nice names and all, but she's Ulla. She shall always be Ulla. (Hippomenes's little Atalanta! Ha ha.)
Speaking of that...
Here's a little snippet of a scene for Ulla and Hippomenes. In my new series thing, it's 1.1. That makes sense to me... When I post the next one of these, I'll explain. Anyway! Here goes.
He smiled. “But how do I know you’ll come back? You might forget about me and never even return to express your deepest gratitude. We just can’t have that, now can we?”
Touya rolled his eyes and sighed raggedly. “Look, just let us go- we’ll come back.”
“Hmm...” Hippomenes pretended to think. He grinned. “Nope.”
Then Sonja spoke up. “Well what about if one of us stayed here with you? We’d have to come back for our team-mate.”
“Oh, brilliant idea!” Hippomenes said wildly, clapping his hands together once. “Ulla and I will have so much fun together while you’re gone!”
Ulla stared at him in utter apprehension. “Wh-what?”
“You’ll stay with me, silly!” Hippomenes announced happily. “After all, I’m not letting any of you leave unless I have a guarantee that you’ll return, so, since the lovely Sonja here posed such a perfect plan, I’ve decided that you shall stay until your little friends have met their goal and returned!”
***And there you go! I do love my GCS. I love it SO much... Eh-hmm. I'll have a little something else soon! Maybe work on "In Turmoil" or something like that. Thanks! Bye!
