Titian and Hans
I'm sure I'm going to get asked this often: what exactly is the relationship between Titian and Hans? Well, not romantic. But that's because Titian is incapable of love, and Hans doesn't... er, well he trusts Titian but... Yeah. Hans is supposed to be a mystery. He cares a great deal about Titian, but does he love him? I leave that up to the readers. (Ok, actually no, he doesn't-- but you can always pretend.) I already have a second story about Hans in the works (ok, just barely formulated idea stage) where a girl falls for him. Hans, depending on whether you want to think he loved Titian or not, either returns her feelings or likes her older brother. (I actually based the older brother a little bit on the IZ, but don't tell him that!) Yeah. I haven't decided yet if I'll ever depict Hans having a relationship with someone. (Actually, he does fall in love with the girl, but then he leaves her. Dumb ol' Hans.) He's so silent and he doesn't trust most people, so it would be hard for someone to get close to him unless they really worked at it. Dierdre sort of got to him, but only a little bit.
But anyway! Back to Titian. Has he ever had a relationship? No. Does he want one? No. He spent all of his time first planning revenge on his father, and when that didn't give him the release he wanted, planning revenge on prince Alexander. He... he sees Hans as a tool to be exploited, but a very precious and expensive tool that needs taking care of. Even though that's a sucky analogy... You get the idea.
