Dell smiled at Deirdre and took the baby from her arms. "Hello you tiny little miracle, you. I've no idea how such a cute little bundle of preciousness came from such an insane mother; clearly, you inherited all the best genes from me."
"She's beautiful, isn't she?" Deirdre asked quietly. "Such a beautiful, beautiful girl. What are we going to name her?"
"I don't know," Dell replied, talking as much to the baby as to his wife. "I don't know what to name a wonderful little angel like you."
Deirdre smiled. "I was thinking... Drusilla."
"Drusilla, eh?" Dell thought about the name for a moment. "Yes, I... I think Drusilla will be perfect."

Yay for sappy!Dell. I need to clean up his characterization a little bit. But he's a new father, so though it's weird, I think it's okay. The biggest problem with writing things in pieces like I do is that sometimes the thing overall lacks cohesion. Ahh well. I suppose I can always go back and fix it later. Yup.
