I'm sorry that I'm only now finding time to write you. Benvolio told me how worried you've been, though of course you haven't admitted it to either of us. So I assure you I'm fine and everything here is going well. I shouldn't talk about what's going on here, so I'm afraid this letter may be rather bare. Just know that I'm safe and relatively comfortable, and that I'll return home as soon as I'm able. Dell is having a "glorious time", as he puts it, and though stretched to the very limits of my patience, I am glad to have someone here with me. His, of course, as ridiculous as always - laughing and being silly and generally exasperating the life out of us all. But I can't be too frustrated with him - I know it's difficult to be away from Deirdre and the children - not to mention the new baby. Who would have guessed he'd turn out to be such a devoted family man? I have to go, but I look forward to seeing you soon.
