Considering Earth day was like what..a month ago?
Wether or not you care all that much about the environment, making an impact is easy. Think about your usage and try to look for more ways to re-use rather than looking for more disposables. One of the best ways to contribute is to use some or all of the following:
Reusable bags rather than plastic is HUGE. Just think about how many bags you are givin. Even when I buy a cd (yes it does happen...sometimes) they try to give it to me in a plastic bag. Really now, was that necessary?
Think about your drinks, plastic water bottles, fast food cups, starbucks? How many drink containers do you pitch a week? Even if you are sending them into the recycle bin, they still take energy and create pollution to be reused. You can have a huge impact by carrying some kind of reusable bottle for your cold or hot drinks. Be wary of plastic containers as more research is showing they leach chemicals into water over time.
