I was saddened today to hear that Steve Irwin aka "The Crocodile Hunter" died. I always liked watching him on t.v.. He was very entertaining. At least he died doing what he loved. He was killed by a stingray when the barb on it's tail pierced his heart. The barbs can be up to 10 inches long. It's very rare to be killed by a stingray. Usually they only sting people when they are stepped on. But, the barb, filled with poison, went underneath his ribcage and pierced his heart, while he was swimming above it, filming a segment for his new show. I can't believe it! He was only 44 years old and had a wife, Terri and two kids. Daughter, 8 and son, 3. That's too bad. I will miss ya Steve. R.I.P.
