Oh hey, is this thing working? Oh Good.
[The camera comes on to Vriska's face for a second before turning to the road in front of her.]
So I got myself a couple more of these Pokémon since I last posted on here when I got Marquise.
[Grabbing a Pokéball she lets out the creature inside. A Magikarp flops on the ground.]This is Camer-- Tavros you

Cool? You actually think it's cool!? [Brb, laughing.]
Maybe you're dumber than I give you credit for.

[ okay park the fun bus a sec while he explains the science of this in his most eloquent manner. ]
It's just that it sort of, uhh, implies that you thought of me, for a thing, instead of not. And I think it's better than the not being thought of, uhh, part that I said, in general, mostly, so that's why it's cool. Especially since, uhh, I didn't think that my name was a name that you would want to call a thing that's yours.

Wow. Tavros.
[Pause in case she might be about to say something nice]
That's incredibly lame. That's just the kind of sentimental thinking that got you ki-- will get you killed.
Do you know whyyyyyyyy I named it after you.

Well... because it reminds you of me, in some sort of way, regarding its traits or appearance? [ side-eyes that awkward fish. ] But maybe not so much the appearance part, maybe.

It can't do anything but flop around. Which is kinda like you. You couldn't even climb some stairs.

You know, I suppose there is some sort of sentimental value involved. I only got it because it reminded me of you after all. Had to have something to toughen up.

That's, uhh, sort of the impression that I was getting, and it's kind of, I guess, maybe a nice gesture, theoretically. Even if your manner of toughening kind of makes me, uhh, worry about the Magic Carp, that you have there, a little bit.

It is a nice gesture! [It's not.] Maybe I can succeed here with this fish where I failed with you. Though I suppose you're not a lost cause yet.

You know, you got a lot people that jumped to your defense. Been making frieeeeeeeends Tavros?

[ this comes as a big surprise to him apparently! given how he kind of boggles at the screen for a couple seconds. people coming to his defense, what does that even mean. ]
Oh, uhh... well, I guess so. A lot of people were saying they could help me with, you know, stuff, if I needed it, and generally being nice and things like that. That's a thing that friends do, I think, so I guess I could call them that...

Do you. think I'm too hard on you? [She gives him a look that says he better answer carefully or there might be consequences]
Reply
I don't really, uhh, have a thing to compare it to, the hard factor, of you toward me, versus, uhh, someone else toward me...
