Hello,
It has been several years since I have posted something in this journal. I suppose a lot of things have changed and I went into a hiatus from a LOT of fandoms ... or, more precisely, from my internet life in general. I have not been in the Arashi, Super Junior, or Tohoshinki fandom in such a long time.
To summarize, I had been accepted into a university and I suppose that was the largest reason I went into hiatus. Moving into a dorm and going to classes was such a major change in my life that I had to shut down some aspects of it and shove it away to make room for a "new life". Well, currently, I have graduated from that university. Not officially, though. The actual graduation ceremony will take place a few days from now.
But, this is not the end. No. It's only just beginning. I still have years and years of education ahead of me (graduating the uni was only the first itty bitty step) and I'll only get busier and busier.
This journal has been a very big part of my life and I am so very grateful to the friends this journal has brought me. I've met so many great people and made fantastic friends. Although I am very bad at keeping in touch, I remember you all fondly (you know who you are! ^_^) and if you ever want to get in touch again, feel free to do so! Although I'll not be as active as I had been because of ... well, things. :') I am ever so grateful to have the opportunity to get to know you, friends!
Looking back, so much has changed in my life. I've experienced new stuffs and got to know many things about this world (let it not be said that my ... boy ... experiences remain what it had been xP). My fandoms and interests have also changed. Since starting uni I've not had a lot of time on my hands (or enough bandwith) so the first thing to go was watching TV shows and doramas. Reading was the only thing that could continue on after that. I read books and mostly mangas (also fanfictions har har) -- as such I got hooked on mangas more. From there, I got hooked on seiyuus and otome games (I'm otome trash so sue me). Getting into the seiyuu fandom has been ... quite interesting. Since entering, I have felt more trashier than I have ever felt in my years being a fangirl. But, it has its perks. Being in the seiyuu fandom does not require much video download (if you don't count seiyuu events OTL) or watching time, so I could be walking around in campus or reading a textbook while listening to a dorama cd. :)
But enough of the fandom talk lest I rant on and on and on (but let it be known that I sometime also keep track of the Arashi and THSK fandom).
Anyway, another interest that I've picked up is Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) which is ... a thing that has to do with archetypes, personalities, functions, and general psychology stuffs. I've always been fascinated with neuropsychology and finding out about MBTI was a Godsend.
But I'm very much digressing.
The point of this post, is that I am alive. I have not forgotten any of the experiences, friends, fandoms I left here. I shall be around, though mostly invisible.
Much love,
Azii
