Need to remember to brighten my screen when I read your posts. Good lord your background colour and text colour are dark/similar. Pretty though, very pretty.

In no particular order:
That dinosaur shirt is awesome. I've been watching a show on ABC about the natural history museum in London and in the last episode they talked about research suggesting that T-Rex was a scavenger and not a ferocious hunter at all. Presumably he still would have had epic fights with his rivals though, but it reminded me of their talk about the silly little girly arms they have.

Your Kanji is pretty - I tried to do it at school once and I sucked at it, we did giant ones and I'm not very good at painting anything big.

Oh oh yes! Those pants are incredible! Where did you get them, I want a pair! XD

Sucks about NASAs find hey, it sounded so exciting at first until I read some serious critique of it and then I was like ---____--- 'wake me when you find something actually amazing'.

I wanted to do archery a whole lot when I was little. I always envisioned myself being like some sort of kickarse female Legolas or something :P

Ummm yep, keep having fun times, it's sad that you don't get a Christmas party, only a lame multicultural day, but I'm sure you'll find ways to make your Christmas feel special ^_^

Re: readability: I had no idea the contrast was so bad on less-bright screens until I started using this laptop, here in Japan. I designed the lj theme on my shiny desktop. It's fine if you have the brightness at a normal level >__>;;;;

Consider my mind BLOWN. Wow, that changes Jurassic Park though. It sure is hard to visualise t-rex just nosing around for scraps, isn't it?
Then again, THIS

It makes me laugh *every time*

The pants are also from Tutuanna~~
There were some really cool designs, like ones with a vintage navy feel (navy&white stripes w a red apple...) and ones with cake and....

Archery! You can do it... around Perth?
I think?
I went to the Bussleton archery park when I was a kid....
