Cake's been busy this weekend, na~
Yesterday I attended
finding_jay's steampunk picnic, which was so lovely~♪
Unfortunately I don't have any photos of steampunk!Cake :\
There were tophats involved~☆
Then I went to a wedding, which was... interesting.
It was non-religious, i.e. they were married by a celebrant. But she was so strange! She read slowly from a big book, and had a microphone headset, and so it seemed like she was reading us a picture-book or something. And she outlined every process before-hand, which just seems completely unnecessary - weddings don't need an abstract.
Basically, if I ever get married, it will probably be almost the opposite of this wedding.
I like smaller, more informal things, I guess. With more theming!
I enjoyed myself much more than expected, though. I got to know my Interesting Uncle's Interesting Girlfriend, whom I can't help but admire if only because she looks a little like Gwyneth Paltrow :) She's pretty cool, though. And I danced with my thirteen-year-old cousin, which is always classy ;P
And of course, my cousin dj-ing Rickrolled the entire wedding o___o;;;
And wine~~~ :D
And today I met some lovely ladies from
perth_lolita~♥
あぁー、ケーキちゃんはとてもブスだよ T__T;
ah ha ha, I spent, like, an hour fiddling with mum's camera to get a nice portrait shot of myself - all the nicest shots came out blurry >___<
I have to read the manual, I have no idea how to use that camera. Analog manual cameras are so much easier~~~ORZ
I look pretty terrible in photos anyway (although I seem to look okay in mirrors...?). I really hope I look better IRL o__o;
It was my first time wearing my Sleeping Beauty JSK, which was exciting :3
The three of us had a lovely Vienna-Devonshire morning tea in London Court, then checked out the year 12 Perspectives exhibition at the art gallery, and just wandered around. Yay~ I love making new friends!
Ah, and yesterday was dear Teru-kun's birthday~☆☆☆
But... I didn't do anything for it >___<;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
I'm still too shy to post anything on Ameba, and I figured since they are on tour at the moment, sending something physically would be a bit useless.
Maybe next year, though! I'll make him something amazing~
♥♥♥
Nothing much more interesting to say, except that I've found out how to turn off the horrible circle-pulse animation thing that comes up whenever you click with a tablet pen in Windows 7.
many solutions hereI used Brian's solution: Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services -> Scroll down to Tablet PC Input Service (Not TabletServiceWacom) -> Stop Service.
Yaaaay~
So many things to still post, but I don't want to clutter this post, so back into the draft they go!
じゃね~~♪
