Just one of those days. So much childish desire. So little wanting to get out of bed.
One of those days that should be one of the more productive days of the month, semester or dare I say year.
But of course, as so often happens, I woke up in one of those moods :\
Moods where you want and want and want and don't get anything done trying to satisfy your stupid desires.
Moods where you can't get up without thinking of a just reward.
☆ I wanted cuddles and love, so I didn't get up til around midday
☆ I wanted delicious foodgasm to justify getting up, but we only had leftovers...
☆ I wanted to sate my appetite by buying pretty, expensive things, finally got the balls to just order the damn parasol and managed to mostly talk myself into buying a dress, and found out both are currently out of stock and died (and lolled).
☆ I wanted some instant gratification, so I checked my webcomics/blogs/etc which were mostly empty :\
☆ Except for the next chapter of La Belle Sans Merci :D Thank god :D
☆ But by then I was too far gone. I was still empty, so I delved into the emergency chocolate
☆ Which mostly has filled me up. Maybe I should have just had some chocoalte for breakfast instead :\
☆ But I'm still torn between fucking around and drinking tea, or doing the assignments that NEED to get done TODAY.
☆ I know, I am pretty lame, right.
I think these things partly come about because I am a pathetic mongoose and get slightly mopey if I don't see friends within 24 hours. I'm not sure. Mostly I think I have a problem with instant gratification and stimulation (this is a problem with the whole X & Y generations, I think).
Anyway.

I... may just buy as many Versailles releases as is physicallyfinancially possible in January.
I very much would like to own DVD Versailles so I can drool on a large screen. Having the discography would be orgasmic, but also probably to expensive... Anyway, if I don't buy Plastic Tree's Chandelier at that point, a part of me the part that feels guilt over downloading illegally... will die.
So. Excited.

The other thing that has almost cured me of this funk was THIS - GOOD OMENS AUDIO BOOK MP3 PREVIEW.

Makes me want to re-read Good Omens again.
I would totally listen to this the whole way through. I love how british audiobook readers manage to get that snarky sarcasm into their narrating ♥♥♥
Also... somehow... I have ended up spontaneously planning to go on exchange to Japan in 2011. Yeah. I mean, it was always an idea in my head, but now I suddenly have a friend who is doing it, and the application is suddenly due tomorrow. I found out yesterday. This resulted in a lot of stress, and I still have to write a letter in Japanese, on top of the assignments I wanted to finish today >___<
So I'm applying now and then worrying about how to finance it. I actually don't expect to be eligible or chosen (no, really. If they count my whole academic record, I am pretty screwed.), but it doesn't hurt to apply. It's a whole year away, anyway.
Mostly it has just meant that I had to look at my enrolment, which is one of the chores I most hate doing in life.

I had the last stamp on my card waiting to be filled out for months.
Now I need a new stampy card (the old ones expire at the end of November, btw) and then I'll get a blue penguin friend :) Yay! Let's go get IceyIce :)
