Cake does not like insomnia. Cake does like tea.

I had a dream in which I high-fived, like, ten people with Threadless shirts, and another one in which patternsofchaos put dead fish in my pants. Yes, it was as strange as it sounds. And as gross.
And, strangely, I had a dream in which I recognised that the set (i.e. dream setting) had been used in another dream before. This happens to me occasionally (and the places and dreams are never actually related in any way, nor are they exactly the same), but only ever after I have woken up - pretty strange to happen during the dream o_0 I was kind of pointing and going "I've totally been here before!" half realising it was from a previous dream, half thinking I really had been as part of the current dream narrative.

Just.. thought you should know? Because I had no sleep lulz death lulz. My second 4am morning in a row, but not by choice. I totally hate insomnia.
It was nice listening to the gale-force-winds outside, I guess?
Now I drink tea.
Nead moar tea.

In more bad news:

The outlook for online freedom in Australia continues to be less than stellar as the Rudd government’s plan for mandatory Internet censorship gains momentum, with computer games now in their sights. In the meantime, EFA received a link deletion notice - under threat of an $11,000 per day fine - for a discussion on the politically sensitive nature of blacklisted content.

efa.org

As well as this article about a recent case, that basically says you can get sued, no matter what, if you are an Australian and someone else posts a comment on your website that could be considered a form of defamation etc (even if it's hosted overseas).

Australian Government fail.

Hey, anyone know anything about printers? Ours is not cooperating, which is a pain (for meany reasons), because it doubles as our scanner, and I really want to scan some line-art, so I can colour it :\
As far as I can figure, the printer/scanner/thingofdoom is not sending or receiving any information.
Was it injured during that lightning strike, like our digital-clock-intercom and dishwasher? -_-
lame~

Also, my car door suddenly won't unlock, so I have to get in and out of the passenger side. wtf??? For no reason whatsoever. I won't mention my drawers, front door and wardrobe - seems like everything is breaking at the moment 0_0;;
What karma god did I annoy??
