Basically, I have a pretty low budget. Like, $1000 max. But I really only need a basic computer. I only use it for the internet, MSOffice, winamp/itunes and Photoshop. I'm a little more picky with my monitor - I'd like something of a pretty decent quality, but it's not actually essential, either. Hopefully something in the range of 18-22 inches? Preferably not shiny, because that would be a bitch to clean all the time.

Oh, went to Harvey Norman to get a vague idea. There's a sale on, but the only thing that jumped out at me was:
Compaq Presario (CQ2000AN) with an HP W185 monitor for $750 (after cashback, the end date of which wasn't specified).
Is that very crappy, or basically just what I need?

Plastic Tree has the most wonderful lyrics. Seriously. They're beautiful, even translated. I checked out all the ones from Chandelier, my favourite PT album at the moment (well, the only one I listen to as an album, since it was the one I chose to burn). But... they're all sad.
