Thanksgiving Disappointment
Thanksgiving was really kind lame this year. My wife and I went to my parents house and nobody else came. My sister and her husband hung out with his family so my mom just cooked a regular-sized meal. It was turkey with mashed potatoes and stuffing and cranberry sauce. That's it. Apple pie for dessert. Kind of feel disappointed. It was really no different than any other time we visit.
Been working on my game a lot lately. Every time I feel that it is close to being done, I find a whole bunch of other stuff that I have to work out. Battle balancing is a bitch. So is working out the economy. I put a lot of work into this game so far and I think it is going to turn out really great. If you like standard RPGs, I mean. The soundtrack is kick-ass. I just want it to be DONE.
I came up with a great idea for a new game last night. Not a standard RPG but done without any plotscripting again. I can't wait to start work on it but I am not allowing myself to start a new rpg file until Marooned is done. For now I am just sketching out characters, locations and other details. This one is going to be set in the FUTURE.
Work is dead. Black Friday sucks. Can't wait to see how many people get trampled this year.
