oh-oh it's magic
This is my favorite diptych that I cranked out during my little productive period.
Lares/Magic:
Basically two songs were kicking around inside my brain a lot when I was making these: Cities in Dust by Siouxsie and the Banshees and Magic by the Cars. I was pretty excited that a lot of people could actually recognize the guy on the right. I originally wanted to draw Ric Ocasek walking on the water (mainly a closeup of his feet on the water), but I couldn't find a good enough screencap to do so.
I also submitted this one to the Juxtapoz Reader Art contest. They showed interest in the last one I submitted, so hey, who knows? It would be more of an ego stroke than anything, but who cares.
