Update

Kame didn't know how many hours he was just sitting at the table, the note written by Akanishi still in his hand. It was extremely hard to digest all the happenings again. And to understand them was even harder. The singer made this all fuss just because of being worried? Why was he...chasing Kazuya so much? Maybe it was interesting indeed to have someone outside the luxury circle and refreshing for Jin, but did he realize what he was doing to Kame with this?

He was wondering how people surrounding the singer were like. Surely all rich and luxurious and some of them maybe wouldn’t even speak a single word with him. They must be too different... He really wondered why Akanishi sank to his level giving him something he can never return. This bothered him too. He hated to ask favors and the thing that disturbed him the most was the fact of being given something but no matter what he did he couldn’t give it back. Jin spent a lot of money on him and he supposed the singer had a lot of money, but still, he didn't want to be spent on without return. It was also clear to him that Jin won't say "give me the money back I spent on you" but he still wanted to do it somehow. Who was he to Akanishi Jin? A friend maybe, but not someone on the level of being spent on.

"I am so pathetic..." the man sighed as he looked at the tickets and at the note the hundredth time in one hour. There was nothing particular written onto it just a short "I hope you will enjoy it. Thank you for coming. Fernandez >D " but still... it made Kame's heart beat in a fast pace, making him read it again and again. Also it got squeezed when he was thinking about, those tickets must cost a lot.
Since he met Akanishi, things happened to him day by day he would have never thought of happening and it was more and more difficult to deal with it alone. Getting out of his usual circle of life was not easy at all.
He didn't want to involve his brothers and he didn't intend to betray the singer either, telling someone the whole situation just to feel lighter.
But there were two tickets and he felt, he wouldn't be strong enough to go alone. And well, Jin didn't expect him to go just by himself, that's why he gave two tickets, right?
The only one who he could think of going with was Hiro. Not just because he was his only friend, but because the guy was very trustful and even if he notices something, he won't tell it to anyone. Notice...heh...what would be there to notice? Nothing.

After not being able to sleep all night, tossing and turning around his bed making a lot of scenarios then making his brothers worried in the morning because it was visible, he decided that in his only 2 hours of freetime, if Hiro had time in the evening he will meet him.

Luck was on his side, the man had day off that day so he could meet Kazuya anytime and he was willing to.
Hiro was the kind of guy who seemed to be easy going, but was serious. His appearance was all girl's dream, but this didn't make him big headed and he was not a playboy. He had shoulder length black-blue hair which he always wore in ponytail. He was stylish, but not outgoing. He had no girlfriend and was not a very socialized person, he chose to hang out with Kazuya most of the time if the younger had time. Of course Hiro had other friends too but he seldom went out with them. A protective being, very kind but at the same time could be dangerous when pissed off. The type of friend you could trust and who had more intuition than anyone else. There was not a single thing Kame could keep in secret in front of him, so Kazuya was kind of worried how this whole meeting will go. He decide not to tell his friend about what happened with Akanishi, just inviting him to a concert.

As evening came and Kame finished one of his works, he hurried to the cafe where they usually meet with Hiro. He sighed as he took place and looked at his watch. He had to learn to be a good liar tho it was what he hated the most... the meeting with Akanishi really swept his life into a weird direction. He decided as time goes by he will tell Hiro about them, and he hoped his friend will be as he always was: understanding and not asking much.

"Hey!" Hiro's voice snapped him back to reality out of his thoughts and he looked at the man kind of startled. It had been a while but Hiro didn't change at all. With a smile Kazuya greeted him, waving slightly. He hoped his voice didn't waver, his face didn't show more than it should and that his friend won't be overworried. He knew Hiro that much, he will know something was not right from the minute he sees him, no matter what the younger tries, but still... he had to hide the truth.

Hiro indeed knew from the time he stepped into the place and saw Kame sitting there, that something was off. He could read Kazuya as an open book, from small gestures he could tell if something bothered the other or made him happy, angry or sad. They spent too much time together back then for him to notice even little things. Kazuya was very special and important to him. He respected the other for his hard work and his will of going on. He was older by three years than Kame and was not rich himself, but he offered Kame a small amount of money back then, but of course the man refused. He didn't really like his own idea of Kame working in a hotline, but he couldn't offer more paying job to Kame to take. He was still searching though.
He looked at Kame who was unusually silent. Usually the other told him about what was bothering him, but Hiro had the feeling it won't go so smooth this time. It must be very complicated and hard to talk about even to him.

"Is everything okay Kazu-chan?" He asked a little worried though this was a question he never really asked, just when he was seriously worried. He knew how Kazuya didn't really like this question, but now he had no other choice to show how serious he was in helping. He sat down next to the young man and waited for the answer. Kazuya really looked very troubled.

"Oh, no no I am fine, I just wanted to ask something." Kame tried to smile, faking as if nothing weighted his heart, but he knew that Hiro looked through him, he couldn't fool the other. It was indeed like that, but Hiro decided he won't push his friend to talk. When Kame wanted to say his problem, he always started with that. Now it was not the case and most likely Kazuya needed time. With time Kame will open up for him, it wouldn't bring any good if he started flooding the man with questions now. Everything at its time. He was a man known about his patience. Not that he was not worried and if he was listening to his heart he would just ask what's wrong again and again, but it wouldn't be wise and wouldn't be like him. Everything will get solved with time and he respected Kame's silence and choice of things. He surely had a reason to stay silent.

"I see." He smiled kindly and saw how Kame's shoulders slightly sank in relievement. They both knew the unspoken truth: their friendship is stronger than a lie. And stronger than panicking or get hurt because of it. Their bond was always like this, that's why Kame felt at ease in the presence of Hiro. He calmed him with his kindness and maturity tho he was not much older.

'Thank you Hiro, and I promise one day I will tell you' Kame said it in himself but he was not surprised when he saw the man nodding. His friend could be creepy sometimes, knowing a lot of things he was not told and so on.

"Well, you see... I got tickets from someone as a present and since I got two I would like to invite you." Kazuya couldn't really speak without being nervous and he knew it was written onto his face and the way he was swaying slightly in his seat showed he really was not calm at all. It surprised Hiro a little, it was the first time he saw Kame like that.

"Oh...sure. When and what tickets?" He smiled, but was very curious what could make Kazuya so out of it. And well, it was rare the younger man got present. He wondered from who.

"It is... Akanishi Jin's concert ticket. It will be tomorrow evening." Kazuya said the name a little too quickly and took the one he wanted to give to his friend out of an envelope with slightly shaking hand. 'Brilliant... I couldn't be lamer...'
Hiro was surprised to say the least. He didn't expect that. He had no idea how Kame actually could get tickets and most of all... VIP tickets as he saw the one handed to him, but something must go on even he has no clue about. But he still decided he won't ask yet. However one thing made headache to him.
He always saw what effect Akanishi Jin's music had on Kame and he was always worried because of it a little. Seeing Kame's everyday life, seeing how much he was living himself into the music of that singer, knowing he wanted to meet him someday... made Hiro want to protect Kame from his own self which started to fall into a man he can never get and reach. And what if they could meet? Surely disappointment. Hiro knew nothing about Akanishi, just heard some of his songs. He didn't care about the bullshit being said about him, maybe it was true, maybe not, but one thing he knew: Akanishi and Kazuya lived in two different worlds in almost every aspect. Hiro didn't want Kame to get hurt, the life of the young man was hard as it was already, the last thing Kame needed was to get scars that won't heal from a dreampicture and ideal. But what could he do? If he listened to his brain he would have said: Don't go. But he felt a little sorry for Kazuya. He couldn't just say this, no matter how he didn't support to get closer even like this to Akanishi Jin. What problem could a mere concert make? Nothing. And anyway, he will be there to protect his friend.

"Oh, of course I am going with you, I am free tomorrow, but Kazu..." His voice turned to be serious. "To tell you the truth I am worried what effect this can have on you...I know what Akanishi Jin means to you and to tell you the truth...I don't think it's a very wise idea." He said honestly and looked into Kazuya's eyes reading the expressions he saw on the younger. How that got a little embarrassed and blushed. Hiro had the urge to sigh.

"What? Oh no, you misunderstand it, I...look Hiro... I can't tell you, I am sorry." The young man looked down for a minute and took a deep breath. "But please trust me and I promise I will tell you soon." His voice was soft and full with apology. He hated himself so much right now.

Hiro regretted of telling things so harsh and just pulled Kame to him, hugging him to his chest and rested his head on the top of the younger one's.
"Baka, of course it's okay. And you know I trust you."
He will protect Kame from everything, no need to be worried. The other was not weak at all either, just his problems shadowed his energy.
The arms around him calmed the younger somewhat and he smiled. He really was thankful to God he had such a close and good friend as Hiro.

"And...Of course you are not into that singer. Why would you fall in love with Akanishi when you have someone as cool as I am in your near." He joked and laughed which caused Kame to chuckle too slightly. His friend could make such a jokes, but they knew they couldn't be more than best friends. However this shooting hug and atmosphere lightened the mood up and it made Hiro smile and continue the teasing.

"So, sexy lady, order your drink, it's on me." He winked and Kame elbowed him, pulling away.

"Idiot." He murmured and shook his head smiling, choosing his drink. He was somewhat calmer and was not so worried anymore because of the concert either. With Hiro being next to him, he won't feel so alone and embarrassed there. Yes, he will just concentrate on the music and not what all happened between him and the singer. He prayed in himself to be able to do that but deep inside he knew... as soon as he will see Jin on stage, he will fall more.

***

The awaited day came and Kame gasped as he saw the Saitama Super Arena. It was huge from outside and he was sure it will be as huge from inside. They arrived quite early, but the place was already crowded. Excited fans were running up and down, some of them being noisy, some were just walking silently. As he was looking at the fans he had an indescribable feeling. Girls... a lot of girls, from very cute to not so cute, but all was common in them, they were crazy for the man who stole his heart. Some of them even looked like Jin, imitating his clothes and hairstyle. They were making uchiwas, writing hearts and Jin's name with red ink, various messages like "send a kiss, show a peace sign, We love you Jin". Some of them were taking photos with the huge poster of Akanishi on the wall near the entrance. There were a lot of girls with luggage, maybe they travelled here from far away to be able to watch the concert. To be able to see Jin... It made Kazuya a little sad and noticed the gap between himself and the singer more. No matter what happened between them, how could he even have a little hope for something? Can they even keep on being friend? Aren't they too different? As he was watching the shining faces of so many fans he started to wake up more from his little dream. A coincidence let him cross Akanishi's path... but was it a good idea to let this go on for more time? He will just fall for the man even more...But well, maybe with this thread of thoughts he was already late. Could he fall for Jin even more than this? The question that crossed his mind the thousandth time since he met Jin: What am I doing? Why am I not just a little stronger to end this?

"Woah, he surely is famous ne." Hiro said as he observed the place too but his voice died as he looked at his friend. Something was not right, he could tell it immediately.

Kame tried to look as calm as possible, but he knew he couldn't mislead Hiro this time either. His friend surely saw how his hands were sweating, how he was sad then getting more and more excited in every minute. As he was looking at his VIP ticket actually, his heart could jump out at every given time and it was so hard to act as if he was all okay. All the thoughts again mixing in his head made themselves appear on his face slightly. Not that much, because he was still wearing his self defense mask, but much enough for Hiro to notice.

The dark haired looked at Kazuya and he was quite surprised. He knew Kame from so long and this behavior was not how he expected the other to have if he ever could go to Akanishi Jin's concert. The young man adored the singer, Hiro knew it, it was no secret, and he saw despite the fact Kame wanted to hide it that the man was excited about this. Why did he have an urge to suppress it? Why wasn't he open? Kazuya only behaved like this when he wanted to feel strong and protect himself, but it was just a mere concert, why would he be so worked up beside being overly excited? Why was his friend in the middle of an emotion storm?
The fact Kame could get VIP tickets was a mystery to Hiro and he would really like to know what was going on. The other had no friends except him, his workplace hadn't changed either, so from where did he get the tickets and the most important of all... who would give it for free? Such tickets are only for insiders or friends and relatives of the artist and he doubted Kame was one of them.
They haven’t met for weeks, that was true, but he doubted Kazuya's life circumstance changed so much in such a short time and the other didn't play lottery, so winning it was out of the question too. What can be the cause of the younger not to tell him the situation? He waited patiently but was also very worried for Kazuya. No matter how strong the younger pretended himself to be, he was pretty fragile and tended to overworry things, being sensitive.
However Hiro thought Kame won't be that self-protecting when seeing Akanishi Jin for the first time. The only reason of this...could be if Kame fell in love with the singer. But it was something Hiro couldn't really grasp. He knew the younger liked the singer, but falling in love without meeting and actually seeing the other was impossible for Kazuya that much he learned after so many years. Or maybe he didn't know his friend so much anymore?
As he saw how Kame's eyes were on the tents that sell goods he smiled.

"Don't hold back." He said, patting Kame's shoulder. "If you want any concert goods I will buy it for you~" Hiro saw how the other stiffened hearing this. He knew how Kame hated to be bought something, but between them it was never an issue, he was the only one who Kame allowed to give him little presents. The younger surely behaved weird...
If Hiro knew the reason the young man was watching the concert goods was something different than wanting to buy it he wouldn’t have asked.

"It's okay, I need nothing." Kame answered kindly and he could have fooled other people with the cheerful smile but not his best friend and no matter how Hiro was patient, he decided that after the concert he will have a little talk with the younger. He couldn’t watch this any longer without a word. Something must go on here and it will eat Kazuya up if he kept it for himself more longer. How many times he said the younger he doesn't have to deal with all the problems alone... What are friends for?

Kame was aware of the fact he again was seen through and he grabbed the hand of the man, pulling him to the entrance of Saitama Super arena.

"Let's go~~~"

His energy lasted until the staff said that the entrance of the VIP ticket holders are on the side and the piercing hateful look he got from some fangirls who heard it, was not the most pleasant experience in his life. Hiro seeing this, to piss the girls he just grinned wildly into their face and whistled as he grabbed Kame's arm and lead him away to the side of the building and to the counter saying "VIP ticket holders".
As Kazuya handed the tickets to the staff for a fleeting second he hoped it was not only a dream or there was no problem with the tickets but the kind smile and the "please enjoy" told him everything was alright and they could enter. These two words made him remember the note of the singer which he was childish enough to put carefully into his pocket to have it with him. He nodded a faint thank you and stepped inside of the huge building, his jaw fell in awe. He would have never thought he could be here in his life, that his dream to actually see Akanishi singing live will come true at a place like this. It was again one of the things he could write to his "the first time" list which connected to Akanishi. His heart started to race as they were led to their seat. The set of the stage, the huge screens, the lights, though it hadn’t even began yet... It was the same place he saw Jin first sing on that fateful day on the screen by the crossroad. Will he sing that song again? He wondered.

"You can sit down." He heard the amused voice of Hiro from next to him, who was already sitting and looking up at him with a chuckle. Apparently he was too much in his thoughts and maybe even missed something his friend said him?

"Oh....hai..." Kame blushed a little and sat down. The seat was at the side, but in the front line, close to the main stage. There was a passage in front of it, but surely it was just used by the people who go to the arena. However he noticed right away, these places they got were better than the arena ones because from here he could see the main stage and the second stage, farther on the back too. Was it possible Jin could see him here? No, right? It would be better if not and what was he thinking? He was so angry at himself at times like these. Na and what if Akanishi gave them VIP tickets? The world was not turning around him, surely Jin doesn't care where he was sitting, he won't even know it. Why would he look at him? They were nothing like that to each other. And a lot of fans were there... the singer could have his eyes on so many pretty girls...why would he even waste one second to look at him? And why was he feeling sad and slightly jealous all of a sudden again watching the girls around holding Jin's uchiwas and chatting excitedly? One of them will most probably be the girlfriend of Akanishi one day.

His thoughts were cut off with the place going dark. Fans started to scream and cheer and Kame's heart beating the same incredible pace as the first time he met Jin. He stood up too, watching the lights rushing through the crowd, colorful light beams, the whole overture was very spectacular. The set was breathtaking, colors were changing in a heartbeat, a lot of dancers coming out to an instrumental song with a lot of drumbeat and Kame's anticipation grew in him so much he wanted to scream too. He held himself back however and he doubted any voice could leave his throat now as he was waiting for the singer to appear with crazily beating heart. Everyone screamed "Akanishi Akanishi" repeatedly and once again, the man seemed such a distant being.

***

The tension in the backstage at the Saitama Super arena got higher and higher as the starting time came closer and closer. Everyone was excited and prepared to be ready when the lights sleep off. The dancers took their place and some of them made their last stretching or set their costumes. The sound-effects man had the last discussion with the lighting to have the very last check on the equipment. Everyone was ready to start just as the audience outside who was repeating Akanishi’s name continuously.

The waves of loud screaming swept along the mass and reached even the backstage where Jin stepped out of his dressing room. He was ready as well, hair and outfit fixed perfectly. When he joined the back-dancers he looked calm and composed outside. Inside he was more than excited. Before live shows he was always excited every time, as he was on his first concert, but on that precious day when he knew a precious someone was sitting in the arena made him butterflies to his stomach.

“Ready?” the staff leader asked the group and held out his hand in front of him in the air.

“Ready!” all the people around echoed in union and put their hands on the top of the leader and each other.

The very last hand that topped the heap was the one of the singer’s. They stood there already in front of another performance which he liked deep inside. Beside he always had to act to the fan’s liking he felt freedom in the same time. He was not just singing, but giving a whole show with all the spectacles and effects they just had. It was like composing a whole stage-play. On the top of that he had his fun with all the dancers and co-stars ever performed with him.

The take-up music’s beats started and heated up the screams all over the arena. The laser beams scanned the audience along before turned to the stage and lighted the huge setting up. The dancers took their position and the show begun with the well-known tune of Yellow Gold.

Akanishi stepped behind the huge screen in the center of the stage that soon moved to the sides letting him appear with a loud bang and a lot of firework. The crowd started to scream even louder almost beating down the amplifiers which were responsible for the twenty huge broadband speakers giving out little more than hundred decibels.

“Saw you there, looking for
Not for everything but just anything that will make this life
I'm giving you what you need
So just put your hand out
I can share with you girl”

Jin was singing his part into his microphone while he was walking down the stairs to the dancers where he joined them and they danced together for a while. The atmosphere was high and everyone was excited. It made the singer even more energetic and lost into his dance swaying his hip on a sexy way, that made the first five lines almost got their heart-attack. He didn’t deny but it fed his vanity. Somewhere inside him was a little part that had an exhibitionist kink and took pleasure in playing with the overexcited feminine audience.

But there was another part as well that led his thoughts onto Kazuya who must have taken his seat already in the VIP section. He hoped that the younger man didn’t pass his chance to be there and if Jin had some more luck they can meet after the show. He turned into the direction, but the lights were too bright and the arena too large to be able to spot the nice face in the mass. Later he was attending to go to the sides anyway and from there it was possible to notice.

When the man appeared on stage Kame thought his heart will stop and he gasped. The aura, the power which shone from the singer while singing his song captured Kazuya totally. It was even more overwhelming than hearing Jin sing on the screen. He was lost in the feeling of the rhythm and gasped at the lyric.

“This new life in Tokyo
Come and find it out tonight
I can share with you girl
You could change your life with my help
No not then, this is when
Make a change now
I can share with you this world”

Share the world...new life... He knew he had nothing to do with this lyric, but it matched him so much. Except one thing: he can't make that change, he can't expect anything to happen, but it didn’t hurt to dream a little... with Jin's help he really could change everything, he could have a new life...experience things he had never did before. But even if Jin offered this to him, he couldn't accept it because he couldn't give anything in return.

However all the serious thoughts died out of him when he saw the dance moves of the other man. The sexy swaying of the body made him remember the night they shared and that made him blush slightly and his mouth unable to close. The thing he didn’t want to remember during the concert at all. He felt tensed, he wanted to enjoy the music itself, but too many memories flooded him.

Kazuya didn’t have to think much how to be at ease again, because the spectacular techniques of the show made his jaw drop and concentrate onto it fully. During the next song they made Jin fly in the air. Kame smiled a bit as he was watching the man "in the sky" and couldn’t help but wish Jin to be his guardian angel. The rhythm and colors were chasing each other in a comfortable pace and Kazuya found himself enjoying the performance. He was unaware of Hiro stealing looks at him from time to time. The other couldn't help but still being worried.

Two songs later Akanishi began to sing Oowah and like a little child losing his patience he couldn’t help but headed to the left side checking if Kazu-chan was there. The fangirls standing down were waving with their uchiwas as the singer passed them by. He only took a short look at them and waved back automatically. He already stepped across the fact that most of them acted rather irritating and scary, but now Jin looked them as a mass of happy people who were enjoying his music. And that made him perfectly delighted.

“Sing it baby, if you happy say” he sang to the crowd and the people screamed back “Oowah”

“You say” and his hand held out the microphone again to make the audience sing “Oowah”

“oowah for me”

A song started Kazuya has never heard before, but could guess the title was "Oowah" as much it was heard in it. It had a light atmosphere and the way Jin made the audience sing crept a small smile onto the young man's lips. It lasted as long as he noticed that Akanishi started to come to the left side, closer and closer to him, so close that even his face started to be seen clearly. Kazuya felt like a panicking schoolgirl and wondered if it was possible that Jin can notice him. He didn’t want it, but wanted it at the same time also. His heart was beating in a crazier pace and his hands started to tremble a little as his eyes were fixated on the approaching figure.

The merged mass sharpened out and Jin was able to see faces as he walked closer to the side sector. His eyes were busy with scanning the people while he sang the song and the audience sang with him.

Three more steps … than two …

There were too many brown haired girls who misled the singer. Beside the colorful lights didn’t help as well. ‘Where are you?’ Akanishi reached the end of the left side stage where it continued into a long passage that formed a half-circle turning back into the center. When his hand gave the sign to the fans to sing “Oowah” his eyes spotted two young man in the crowd without uchiwas just standing there watching the show.

One of them was a taller guy with black stylish hair and outfit, the other one was… it was Kazuya who was staring at him in surprise. Jin’s heart filled with happiness and he started to wave at the direction like a little kid while singing his line.

“Sing it baby, if you happy say”

Kame stiffened and could swear the singer was waving to him. As if their eyes met too. He was surprised and didn't know what to do, he automatically raised his hand a little but he could stop himself from waving back. It was not sure Jin was waving him. Surely not... why would he? But still, his heart was beating in his throat.

Akanishi was close enough to notice that the younger man’s expression changed and he must have noticed that Jin saw him. Though Kazuya looked a little bit shocked the singer could fly from overwhelming happiness what probably caused his high excitement. His smile widened and waved again before he started to sing the next part turned to the boy.

“Pick a number you like, plus four and double it,
Minus six and divide by the peace sign
Last thing you do is subtract the first number
Yeah that equals you“

First Jin made a peace sign then he pointed with his finger at Kazu-chan while singing ‘You’ and left the side of the stage. He was closer to the next song when he had to be at the smaller stage at the center, so he fastened his steps to the direction with buzzing heartbeat and a grin on his face.

Kame's eyes widened and heart stopped as Jin pointed onto him. It was not his imagination right? But... why would the singer take this special care to him? God...
Even Hiro looked surprised at Kame, then back at the singer who was grinning and he was sure that Jin really was looking at his friend. It was as if Akanishi was singing that part to noone else but Kazuya.
Hiro was not so overwhelmed, he understood right away that the answer of the number play is "one". Number 1... But maybe it was not deliberate? Tho he could imagine just by looking at his stiffed friend what it caused him.

Kame's heart was about to jump out even when the singer turned away, going elsewhere, that smile burned inside of his heart. Maybe someone sat behind him and Akanishi was singing to her... he thought, desperate about finding a logical reason. But their eyes met...
'No, no surely it was just coincidence, nothing else.'

After Jin took his position on the smaller stage between the dancers the next song started and they danced together in well-trained choreography. The singer was filled with energy and knowing that a precious someone was sitting in the crowd increased his excitement. The audience enjoyed the show and the performance. He walked along the passages a few times - most of the time to the left side - waving to the hyper people who were jumping and dancing along the cordons.

Each and every time he searched the boy in the VIP with his eyes and sent a smile to Kazu-chan. Sometimes the thought about who the taller man next to the younger was crossed his mind, but it couldn’t harm his overwhelming happiness. Whenever he faced the sector to check on his little phone-guy the stylish boy next to him watched him with furrowed eyebrows. He didn’t notice anything that helped to identify the black haired man’s relation to Kazuya, so he decided to ask about it later.

The show went just fine and he needed a little break. In the middle part there was a solo for the dancers where he could refresh himself until he stepped onto the stage again. The lights died out again and the setting above him got a glimmering effect. It looked like a night sky with shining stars. The next song was Bodytalk.

The singer stepped into the spotlight that was directed to the only microphone in the center of the main-stage and he started to hum the song on a high voice. The melody filled the huge arena and the audience listened to it in silence totally amazed from his unique voice when he started to sing the lines.

“Face to face
I'm looking at you in a secret place
Undress the words so we say nothing fake
It's so much better when our words are naked”

The view was breathtaking and the soft voice of Jin made Kazuya shiver even inside. He felt hypnotised, totally forgetting the embarrassement and the blushing like little girls in love because of the fact that the singer looked at him accidentally most of the time he was coming to the left side and he started to think it was deliberate. But what did he do to deserve such a treatment?

And God... a lovesong. The setting was so simple, but it was obvious Akanishi put his everything into the song, all his feelings and Kazuya started to dream... how good would it be if this song was for him... the lyrics of the song was exactly how he would like to be with Jin... despite he knew it never could happen. The voice of the man on the center of the stage was filled with so many yearning and emotion that even the girls were dead silent, listening to it holding their breaths. How many girls were daydreaming the same thing as he did? And who will be the one who actually can share this bond with Jin in the future?

The hands of the singer were holding the microphone stand and moved along the fine steel almost caressing it with tenderness. His eyes were closed for a moment before he turned to the left side, where the VIP was, and continued on the lyric.

“We don't need space
I wanna hold you tight again
For us to feel each other's hearts at the "right place"
I guess this is why god made us like this

Songs sound amazing with you
Views lose their beauty without you
It feels like I don't exist without you baby
Without you baby
Without you baby”

Jin turned back again closing his eyes and took a strong hold on the micro while he sang the refrain. The feelings which were built up inside him poured out and his lips desperately repeated the word again and again until the music died out.

Kazuya knew it was just his imagination, Jin couldn't see him because of the lights, but still... it was as if the singer was looking into his direction all the time and even in his eyes as he was singing with such passion it made Kame's eyes water up. No, he didn't cry, but the music hit him so much his sensitiveness started to flood his body. Looking at you... secret place...noting fake... how he wished it was reality...and the singer was really looking at him. Being able to write such a song... Kame was almost sure Jin had someone he felt like this for.
He felt butterflies in his stomach every time the singer repeated "I love you" in the refrain of the song and he couldn't even count how many times it was but all the time chills run through his body. How he wished he was that one...
But... it was not for him right? This song was not for him, how could it be... And besides, Jin had his eyes closed as he was singing the rest.

“I said I love you, said I love you, said I love you
I still can't find any other words than "I love you", let our bodies do the talking
I said I love you, said I love you, said I love you, love you”

Hiro was at a loss of words. What the hell was going on here? He was not so naive as his friend was and after it happened again and again he was sure that Akanishi Jin was indeed doing it deliberately, singing for Kazuya and when he was even turned to the direction they were sitting as he was singing this love song it became too much to Hiro. He didn’t understand why and how this was possible, but it was as if Akanishi got somehow charmed by his young friend. He looked at Kazuya and saw how much he was moved and at the same time touched and out of it. Who gave Kazuya those tickets? Seriously... WHAT was going on around him? If he didn't know it was impossible he would think the singer just confessed his undying love to Kazuya. Why was a world famous singer behaving like this? It was so suspicious... There really are things Kazuya hadn’t told yet....

For Kazuya the second half of the concert went on quite fast, he was numb from shock and didn’t really acknowledge things around him. When the whole show began secretly he wished Jin to find him and look at him once, but... what did the singer do? Watched him so many times that even Kame couldn’t find logical explanation to it and after most likely being watched during a love song... he lost it and was like a small child understanding nothing.

The time he again came to life and gasp was when he heard the familiar melody that so called saved his life, gave him power and the will to fight... what he heard that day at Shibuya and this... he knew the title of. Eternal. It was so much more hearing it live as it was on the screen and top of that... Jin again looked at him and he thought his heart could melt. He really didn't understand anything anymore, maybe he even misunderstood everything, but he was so under the spell and overwhelmed with all the feelings he had he whispered a faint 'thank you' which even he didn't notice.

As for Hiro, who couldn’t wait the concert to end and to bring Kame out of there as soon as possible, heard this little whisper because he concentrated more onto Kame than the stage . He wanted to know what was going on and he really was concerned for him. Soon the songs came to an end and Jin was speaking into the microphone thanking everyone that they came and he could swear, the singer AGAIN looked at his friend. The dark haired rolled his eyes. The fans were screaming for encore and they got their wish fulfilled, Akanishi came back to the stage singing more songs. 'When will it end already?'

Kazuya burned every little movement in his heart, every song, every smile and he was afraid of himself how much he allowed himself to fall into his excitement and feelings for the man singing on the stage. That's why he depserately tried to promise himself he will end every contact with him. He has to. He must. How empty he will will feel after the power he got from this fades away Kazuya didn't even want to think about. But one thing he was certain of: this evening will be one that he never forgets, though most likely this was the last time he saw Akanishi Jin. For his own sake. He was maybe not that strong to be a phone-friend with the other.

After the concert ended and the fans scream for another encore was futile, the girls started to leave their seats and chatting excitedly, revising their favorite minute of the concert. Hiro looked at Kazuya and his heart was clenched in fists. He was so sure this will end up with his friend being melancholic and unable to digest the events. Hiro knew Akanishi probably wasn't at fault for watching his friend, he most likely just picked someone out of the crowd and found a challenge in making even the ones who held no uchiwas amazed, but with this act the dark haired started to dislike the singer.

As they stood up to go out, following the crowd, a smiling staff member stopped them.
"Excuse me but the exit of VIP ticket holders is different than the others." The girl said and asked them to follow her. Hiro didn't suspect anything, it was normal he guessed, they entered through another entrance so of course the exit was different too. He grabbed the dazed Kazuya's hand who was feeling light headed but at the same time thousands of feelings were rushing through his body, and led him out. There was a small group of people, Hiro recognized them as the other VIP ticket holders, but what was strange, that they were led into the parking lot where they had to stop. He was still holding Kazuya's hand and was baffled what was going on.

"Uhh... Isn't this a parking lot?" Kazuya asked as he looked around, feeling a little weird. What were they doing there?

Ben took a long drag from his cigarette when Daiki poked his shoulder. He just couldn’t believe he agreed to help in this comedy. At least he had the feeling like it was one after Jin had passed Daiki’s and his tickets to his lover and around an hour ago sent him a message to pick the boy up and deliver him to the afterparty. Ben was not glad that he had to assist. It was just ridiculous. And on the top of that Daiki was like a fucked up Charlie Chaplin who played his role while patting his friend’s shoulder and pointing to the small group which just came out of the arena exit in excitement.

“What’s up?”

“Look! I think that guy looks like Jin’s call-boy.”

Ben turned into the direction and his eyes found the nice face immediately. He was not some stylish host-guy but indeed a pretty face. The blond haired put out his smoke with a sigh and headed to Kazuya.

“Finally, you are here!”

Both Kazuya and Hiro turned surprised into the direction of the unknown voice and looked at Ben questioningly.

"Do you know him?" Hiro, who still was holding Kame's hand asked the younger, his voice was just above a whisper. The younger shook his head and couldn't imagine who the foreigner could be.

"Excuse me, you might mistake me with someone sir, I don't know you." the brown haired young man said politely.

Daiki’s eyebrows run up in surprise and sprang the question on him directly.

“You are Kazu-chan, aren’t you?”

Hiro was even more taken aback than Kazuya who could just nod.

"Uh, yes, may I ask you who you are and how come you know my name?"

“Yokatta!” Ben only groaned out an ironic delight hearing the right name. “I’m Ben and this idiot next to me is Daiki. We are your escort to the party.”

"Oh, nice to meet you. But... what party?" Kame's eyes widened and Hiro just squeezed his hand even more. No way they go to a party and who are these weird guys anyway? Is this some bad joke?

"We were not invited to any party." The dark haired man next to Kazuya declared.

Ben watched the two guy’s expressions while he noticed how the taller man behaved possessively on the call-boy. He knew Akanishi enough that he wouldn’t step into a relationship, or whatever the two might have. But on the other hand it made harder for him to lead the victim into the next car and ride off with him.

“You are!” Daiki cut in. “You have our… ermm… the VIP tickets which is the pass to the afterparty as well.” the dark haired man explained before he whistled to the next black limousine and waved to their direction.

Hiro looked at the ticket he took out of his pocket - with the other hand still holding his friend's securely - and showed it to Kazuya.
"It's true... it is written that the VIP ticket holders are invited to the afterparty."

Kame's heart skipped a beat. Afterparty... where all the important people and... Akanishi go too.
"But we...I ... have to... go home to... my brothers" He panicked.

“Yeah, your boyfriend is a genius.” the blond haired man deliberately emphasized the word ‘boyfriend’ checking he was right about the two men’s relation. “This is not only a party, but it’s a chance to say thank you for the performance personally. If you just run home right now you will miss this chance and it would be rude regarding to the artist who gave such a great show. What do you say Kazu-chan?”

Seriously, who are these guys? What do they want from Kazuya? And first of all why do they call him Kazu-chan? So informal... They met the first time now, so what is this all? He planned to let them think they are lovers, he could protect the younger more effectively like that, but Kame's next sentence ruined his small play.

"He is not my boyfriend. But my best friend." He fell silent. What could he do? They got the tickets for free and it would really be impolite if they just leave without personally saying thank you. Even though he swore himself he will never meet Akanishi Jin again, he had to admit that it would be against the manners to just flee. "Y...You are right Ben-san." He turned to his friend, letting his hand go and said, trying to pretend a calm voice. "They are right Hiro, we should thank Akanishi-san for the good show, we should go."

The tall man didn't really like the idea and could imagine exactly what Kazuya might feel about this, but well... he will be there to take care of him. They will just say a quick thank you and forget Akanishi Jin for forever.

"Okay, let's go." He sighed, giving in.

Just as Ben thought, nothing like lovers. It was something to be happy about, but the expression on Hiro’s face promised him a night full of surprise. Actually he hated surprises and he hated the thought that this whole intermezzo was running into a catastrophe. Why was that he had to be the passenger on this train against his will? ‘Akanishi you owe me too much!’ With that uneasy feeling they got into the car which stopped in front of them and left the arena behind.

Kazuya took his seat in the car with throbbing heart, knowing that at the destination Akanishi will wait for them. How can he look into his eyes without showing all of the emotions which most likely will flood him?

Hiro was at the other hand not excited about the meeting. The opposite, he didn't really want to meet Akanishi.

Inside the car Daiki leaned to Kazu-chan and tried to be chatty to ease the tension.

“… and tell me how was the concert? I’d have loved to be there.”

Kame would have drowned in his thoughts and self-torturing scenarios if Daiki hadn’t asked a question. This made the young man a little taken aback though.

"Oh... you were not at the concert? But then... how come you are here?" Okay, he may have asked too many questions, but he really couldn’t get who these guys were.

“Well … we were too… busy.” the cheerful man lied while caught the glim look on his friend’s face. He was sure if he blurt out another information he shouldn’t, Ben will throw him out of the limousine before the car would even slow down. “Anyway, we wouldn’t miss the party where Jin invited us so nicely, ne Ben-san?”

"Oh, you are Jin... Akanishi-san's friends?" Kazuya corrected, he shouldn't blurt the name out so informal. What had gotten into him? He should use his brain more. Hiro looked at him shocked, but Kame acted as if he said nothing unusual.

“Yeah,… kind of.” Ben replied.

“Yes, we are close friends.” Daiki grinned at Kazuya from an uncomfortable closeness and added lowering his voice. “Pretty close. Shall I say we know all his dirty things?”

This made Kame freeze and fell dead silent on the spot. He started to put the pieces together. Maybe these two friends of Jin knew about him because Akanishi already spoke about… that with them? This made him feel embarrassed and he tried not to blush. What all did the singer say? It made him a little surprised tho that Jin actually talked about him to his friends. The shock came like a cold splash of water onto him in the form of Hiro’s question.

“Okay, so you are friends of that… singer, but can you explain me how do you know about Kazuya when he claimed he has never met you before?”

How clever. Ben had to make a note for himself. Seemed that Hiro guy didn’t know about the secret lovers. Fine, just fine. Why does Jin pull him into the deepest shit … as always? The answer ‘that idiot can’t shut his mouth about his call-boy when he is drunk!’ was on his tongue but he had to bit it back for the sake of his famous buddy and maybe the young guy who turned into the umpteenth color in the last twenty minutes.

“Hiro, could you promise something to me?” Kazuya pulled his friend to him. “You won’t question these guys, I will tell you everything later. And don’t worry, they are not dangerous.” The young man hoped his friend will really stop flooding the boys with questions. He felt guilty however it was so not fair towards Hiro. He should have told the guy the whole story but how could he know things will end up here? Kame didn’t really know why they were there at the first place, but he had some guess already.

Hiro sighed but nodded. He trusted Kazuya but he decided he won’t take his eyes off of his best friend. However he really wondered what this all was about.

The whole company had a sigh of relief when the black limousine rolled in front of a huge building and they could get out of the car, which started to feel too small after the atmosphere became keen. For their bad luck the elevator felt even smaller which lifted them to the top floor and as soon as they stepped into the penthouse Ben headed to the bar. He was in a need of a strong shot. On the other hand Daiki snapped at the first bartender who came to the view with a tray of champagne and filled the hands of the starring guys next to him just as his own.

It was the second time of the day when Kazuya's mouth opened in awe. The penthouse looked luxurious, but he wasn't surprised Akanishi could rent a place like that. The bar was filled with so many alcohols he didn't know the name of 90% of them and the same thing was true to the people there. He knew no one, but supposed they were famous. Maybe models and actors. As he looked around he noticed the big pool outside on the huge balcony and couldn’t help but feel a little sad. How many times a day will he realize how different the world was they were living in? He and Akanishi shouldn't even meet.

Hiro was watching his friend carefully and it was hard to suppress an angry expression to come to his face. It was a bad idea to come here, he so knew it. The effect this had on Kazuya was surely painful and he knew his friend didn't yearn for luxurious life like this but... even he was thinking about how different the lifestyle of these people is. Manners or not they should have just apologize and go home. As he expected a lot of people were there, Akanishi wouldn’t even notice that two ticket holders didn't come. Who were they to him? No one, they have never even met. He knew he was maybe overprotective but he didn't really want Kazuya to meet his idol. And most likely if Akanishi had a fucked up behavior. They couldn't know how he was like in backstage. He could be anything.

Hiro couldn’t deny the fact that at the to the other hand he was curious of the guy who could capture Kame so much with just his voice, but how could Kazuya knew the personality of the singer? He couldn't. But the guy should be here somewhere, so he was looking around, searching the man with his eyes.

Kazuya however didn't dare to look around anymore, he was afraid the moment he sees the singer he gets a heart attack.

"And where is this famous Akanishi?" Hiro asked in a rather cold tone. He couldn't help it.

Daiki, who already gulped down the two glass of bubbling drinks, threw a murderous look to the man’s comment. His friend was still at the bar in due distance when he looked around. But before he could shot a not so nice answer back the elevator-door opened and the singer stepped in with a bright smile on his face.

“There you have!” the dark haired man pointed at the direction with his hand and sighed dramatically.

Hiro rolled his eyes, what a glorious way to enter. He really was not the man who was narrow minded or judging before even knowing, his behavior was because of overprotectiveness this time.

Kazuya's heart stopped beating and then started it again with enormous speed. He looked away immediately, felt how his cheeks heat up and he was a need for some strong shots, but he remained on his spot as if his feet were rooted.

’Finally!’ Ben saw Jin appearing with an irritating grin in front of the elevator. The singer’s hair was perfectly styled again and he took care about changing the outfit. ’Someone had a lot of time to prepare for making a good impression. Idiot! I hope your shiny clothes and big mouth will be enough to cool the situation down.’ But he doubted it will. The blond haired man gulped down the last sip of his drink and was ready to run at his friend to punch into the fabulous face as a welcome.
