(no subject)
the tournament was this weekend. We won our first game putting us in the top two!
Today we played Twin City and were down by 21 with 7 minutes in the game...
down by three with 4 minutes of the game...
then went back down to 10 with 2 minutes left in the game because of dumb fouls
and then all the bench was thrown in and we lost by 18.
BUT,
Everyone in the gym(except for twin city) aka NEBA and BVA and GBCA was cheering for us and it was so loud and AWESOME!!
We lost but we still came home with a second place trophy in the season and a second place trophy in the tournament and that is satisfactory in my book.
ALSO, i took part in hte foul shot contest. Usually it is best out of ten but this yea rthey did as many made baskets within 1 minute. The highest hit was 11 and i was hte last one to go. I ended up having 13 but i should have had more but our girls who were rebounding and giving me balls kept passing them right into the ball in the air and knocking my ball out of the shot. It's a good thing i did well still cuz i would have been ticked if it had caused me to lose.
3 of us all placed in the all conference. AShley and DEsi in 2 nd and me in 1st. that's the most placings our school has had in girls basketball. So that's good.
AND GE THIS, i won MVP of the tournament. It ahs always gone to a girl from the winning team but i won it ! I don't really know how but i did. It's pretty exciting.
well, basketball is over so now i don't know whatto do with myself...
