[The other's reaction was the least to say quite surprising to him; why was Dist acting like this was some sort of facade he was putting up? From the way his friend was acting he doubted it was some joke or anything of the sort but that didn't change that his friend's actions upset him and the frown on his face was evidence of that fact.]

I would like to think that you would remember when, in that situation, the monster of an incomplete replica hit me into a wall, before it was sealed, hard enough to crack my skull. Although, luckily, it seems I didn't sustain any permanent damage or you know, die.

I'm quite sure that I would. [he'd repressed certain memories from that incident, but he'd remember something as particular as that. the fact of the matter remained that he did not and it only proved to irritate him further.]

[It was pretty obvious Dist was doubting him for some reason and quite frankly it confused him but what could he do? Should he become angry at his friend for him possibly feigning ignorance or become sad? He couldn't very well do either of the options presented before him or even walk away. For once, he had no idea what he should do in this situation.

It's rather difficult to try to believe you when you're twisting your own past.

[there had to be some sort of explanation to this. this place was a gathering for everything and anything. racking his brain for a while, he supposed that it could be possible that this Jade wasn't of the same timeline. it would certainly explain the others strange behavior, but it seemed like such a long shot to him.]
