[Sitting - lounging, rather - slouched against a wall.

She's idly spinning a switchblade between her fingers, looking utterly, worryingly bored.]

((OOC: ...I just want to see how differently my Joker muse would act if he were... a she. XD))

series: batman

[He walks in, deceptively clean besides the film of gunpowder at his fingertips. He walks by, unconsciously ignoring the other out of principle before stopping. Dead.

Why was he smaller. And why was he wearing a skirt.

Not that the last question was particularly strange. He turns, staring a moment before speaking in a very cold and threatening manner.]

Who are you?

[--She would know those burn marks anywhere, even if the rest of the package were a little... different.

She takes a good, loooong look all up and down him before licking her lips and grrrrrinning.]

Well look at you.

[She may or may not be mentally devouring him. Just sayin'.]

[Perturbed is a good way to describe the half of his face that can still show expression. Sure, the Joker did inane things more often than not but this was pushing the envelope.

He walks up, kneeling and grabbing her chin a little roughly to examine the scars. They're real alright, and exactly the same from what he could tell. He glares at... her.]

What the hell did you do now?

[Woah, hey, a little grabby, isn't he? She brings the blade up and presses the flat side against his scarred face, growling.]

Hands off. [She sticks out her tongue.] I'm just sitting here. Bored.

[Pauses.]

Did you come to alleviate that~?

[Well it was him - or a girl who thought she was him. Anyone else would have at least cringed at the proximity and action. But not the fucking Joker.

He doesn't flinch at the blade but let's go anyway, taking a moment -A woman, of all the god damned things..- before standing straight.]

Bored enough to switch genders it seems. [He ignores that last comment pointedly. No answers, no games.]

[After a moment, she gets to her feet herself, smiling wide at him.]

I guess the same goes for you, Harley. [She leans in nice and close, licking her lips.] Unless you never had a rack and a fondness for pencil skirts, that is.

Harvey. [He corrects with a growl. He doesn't give her an inch, doesn't budge but continues keeping her gaze with the same controlled perturbed look.]

You're telling me you were always a girl? [Wonderful, another sort of alternate world. Joker would get a kick out of this one. He throws on a bored look.] At least your fondness for costumes wouldn't be as disturbing.

Harrrvey. [Just one letter changes a he to a she, huh? Not bad.]

That's what I'm saying, yes~. [She puts her hands on his shoulders, giggling - a low, rough sound, really, like a dog with something caught in its throat.] I guess I just look good in a skirt, with or without the chromosomes to back it up.

I beg to differ. [He grabs one of her wrists but does nothing else. Funny how before hurting a woman in any way would have been near sacrilege.] Your male counter part didn't have the legs for it.

[It's because she's the Joker, isn't it? She twists her wrist in his grasp and grabs his hand, digging in her nails.] Well, you got me now. I think I do a, uh, pretty good job. Y'know. If y'ask me.

I know Harley just couldn't do the half-bald look justice. You... [She pouts.] You're not doing so well either. Too bad.
