[Sitting - lounging, rather - slouched against a wall.

She's idly spinning a switchblade between her fingers, looking utterly, worryingly bored.]

((OOC: ...I just want to see how differently my Joker muse would act if he were... a she. XD))

series: batman

Nocturne's eyes widen. He recognizes this clown. Though the one he knew was male. "Oh, no..."

[She, in return, just bats her eyes. Somebody's famous~!]

Hello there, sweetie~.

Nocturne took a step or two back. "Have we met somewhere? You look familiar..." he said, desperately attempting to keep her from doing something funny and painful to him.

[She sliiiiiiides up the wall, getting on to her feet.]

Oooohh, I don't think so. I'd remember you. [She gestured with the knife.] You have that, uh, flippy, fancy hair. Looks nice. [-Said in a tone that makes it sound like she wants to scalp him and wear his hair as a wig.]

Nocturne was quickly coming to the conclusion that this woman was scarier than Larxene. He hadn't dealt with the Joker in Econtra much, just the results but he could readily believe that this chick would bury six people alive. "I hate to break it to you, sweetheart, but I've got a girlfriend already. And she's terrified of clowns."

[Was he not going to play? No fun.]

That's too bad. I make a great girlfriend. [Well, if you like blood and the ever-lingering risk of being killed once she's bored...

She pauses, then points the tip of her knife at him, bouncing it thoughtfully.]

You seem... nervous. Why the sour face, sweetie?

"I'm afraid mine has this tendency to blow up stuff she doesn't like. Or anything she tries to cook, but still."

The knife thing was familiar. "You've never met a girl called Larxene, have you?"

Oh? Practically dating me already. [She grins and cracks her neck.]

No, can't say I have. Why, should I?

Nocturne shrugged. "You and she would have gotten along real well. Never seen a woman that liked knives so much."

They're more... personal. Heh.

[She puts a hand on her hip, shifting her weight a bit.] What happened to her, if you don't mind me asking.

Nocturne raised an eyebrow. "What makes you think something happened to her?"

[She pouts.] You said we woulda gotten along well. That means we wouldn't any more. Unless you're just, uh, saying that we'll never get the chance...

"Point. I think what happened was she brought a knife to a swordfight. 'fraid I wasn't there when it happened." Then again, Nocturne fought with a musical instrument.

Well, that's too bad. [She grins, licking her lips and running a hand through her hair.] Not quite close to me, then. After all... I'd bring the dynamite.

"Explosions was never really her thing. She was more into electricity." He shivered involuntarily. There were some memories he wanted to avoid there.

[She picks up on that shiver and files it away, griiiinning.]

Oh really. Now why would she favor something like that over something as pretty as a good old ka-boom?

[She steps into his personal-bubble, because that's how to best unnerve most people.]
