Estelle felt spent. Her first day in this city made her a few decent friends, and then showed her the biggest jerk she had met in weeks. But kicking the crap out of trash cans and practicing moves with her staff didn't really make her feel much better because it didn't solve the biggest problem. There didn't seem to be a guild around here, and no one she knew was anywhere in sight. It was easier to keep her chin up at first when everything seemed so new, but now... well, she would never admit it, but it was actually kind of scary.
How many people were there in this city that came from other worlds? How many other worlds were there? It was going to take forever to find any clues, and it wasn't that that would stop her... It just seemed so intimidating when they were already covering the entire continent back home just to find their dad. She decided that this place sucked, even if it was bright and full of amazing things. Even if she somehow found her way to the place where everybody was supposed to stay until they got acclimated or whatever. The whole thing smelled fishy.
She sat outside in the park, since it reminded her a little bit of home at least in how green it was. Despite that, she sighed and leaned her head forward onto her knees, wrapping her arms around them. Her terrible mood just wasn't going away.
