[Well. This was both unexpected and yet understandable.
They had known this was what copies of the portal stone could do. Transport to alternate realities. This wasn't a foreign idea, but it was the first time life had shat in Agent Piero's coffee like this personally. He looked around, brushing off his jacket and checking that his gun was still on his holster. He had some ammunition left and was more in tact than he usually ended up being after missions.
