It's hot in Infinity.

I mean, REALLY hot.  So hot when you put your foot down, you can feel the heat radiating through your shoes.

Thackery, unfortunately, knows all too well how hot it is, by him picking up his feet with an "ow! ow! Ow!" each time he sets his paws down on the sidewalk.  He makes a flying leap towards the grass, which just seems ( Read more... )

Nala was also a little under the heat that was beating on her today. But when she sees the small cat collapse, she fears for the worst and charges over to him.

Thackery is now moaning in the heat, glancing up at the lion, who seems to be fading in and out of his view right now.

This doesn't look good one bit. Nala knew heat exhaustion when she saw it and knew how to take action. She gently grabbed the back of Thackery's neck and jogged off, knowing that there was some nice shade and a lot of water to drink.

Hello! The world is now bobbing below his feet, but somehow he feels comfortable in the grip of the lion's teeth, so he starts to relax...just a bit.

Nala was glad he was relaxing, instead of trying to struggle and make things harder for her. As she trotted along she finally saw the water and the large trees that she had passed by earlier and quickened her pace.

Thackery is now almost completely relaxed---almost--as he glances up at the lion and meows up at her.

((OOC: Mun is surprised Kovu!Mun hasn't noticed the thread yet...lololol))

Nala gave a smile as she heard a meow from the cat. Well, he was still awake and that was a good thing to her at least. Jogging over to the part of the water which was covered in some decent shade and gently put him down.

The cat plops down on the cooler grass--it can't be a mirage, can it?---as he continues to pant, as he slowly makes his way over to the water, starting to lap at it.

Now that's a good sign to see. The cat was still strong enough to get a drink of water for himself, so she could breathe a sigh of relief.

Thackery manages to get some more water down him, as he then sighs. "Thank you.." He said, glancing over at the lioness weakly.

"You're welcome." Was the first thing that she said, though no thanks were needed. "You looked like you needed it."

"Well, with the way this place is, sometimes I do need a break." Thackery purred, stretching his body up with the air of a dancer.

((OOC: "Break" not "brake" brain... XD))
