Edwin is stalking the streets, immensely aggrivated that he cannot work out where he is. The entire structure of the city is alien, from the way the buildings are designed to the surface he is walking on. Also why is everythign covered in lurid pink? There was some red in the decorations, which was okay, red was a real colour. But why sully it with PINK? And he had never cared for hearts much unless they were his enemy's, and still beating in his hand.
Obviously he must have been pulled from his travels for some greater purpose as befitted a mage of his stature, he just had to puzzle out what it was. He is walking along the streets and eventually moves on to the park, muttering to himself as he goes.
