Merlin 4x08 Lancelot Du Lac
Okay we all know Lancelot comes back in this one, but it's very unlike this show to bring characters back from the dead. It's not cheap like that.
- Why would Merlin drop a pan over that? He totally ships them.
- Morgana has this hatred for Gwen, but she acts like it's more than just jealousy. It's been bothering me for awhile, but Morgana is crazy and no longer is the most rational person.
- Black and still water… yeah that water that isn't very till at all and just mercy.
- Naked Lancelot has come for the fangirls.
- Okay so he is Lancelot… or just the shell that was Lancelot.
- Candles filling a room; this reminds me of a certain friends proposal, and as such we have a spying Merlin. Seriously, get out of here Merlin, who's show do you think this is?
- The masked knight. This is classic Arthurian right now and I love it.
- The guy who plays Lancelot is showing his acting skills by putting on a different voice for this version of the character.
- Hmmm this Lancelot won't remember that Merlin uses magic, so maybe this is how Morgana finds out?
- Gwen opens door: "Why hello, I'm Lancelot"
- So they're going through with the betrayal subplot, but they're changing the reasons for it.
- Meanwhile, Merlin fights back using books.
- "Chicken is good, nice broth, what do you know about necromancy?" love.
- Where'd he find that book anyways if Gaius didn't have it?
- And Lancelot remains the noblest because he was told to.
- Damn, he locked her up too.
- Yaaaay! Gwen realized it was the bracelet was causing it.
- WHAT THE HELL. Merlin and Gaius and even Gwaine can all prove that Snape is working for Morgana on multiple counts yet no one has even tried to tell tell Arthur. SOMEBODY BETTER DO SOMETHING SOON. (Based on the preview it won't be next week; we'll have to wait until the end of the season).
- A liter of tears! (didn't actually cry because I know she's coming back. Still sad)
- Merlin went to say goodbye to Gwen D=
- An episode were Merlin loses. There's been more than one of those this season, and I don't think it will be the last.
- Merlin brought him back to say goodbye/free his soul, and now there are real tears.
