Kaner made some encouragingly mature comments about his Cinco de Mayo weekend during the Blackhawks Convention:
“It’s not fun,” Kane said. “That’s not really the person I am. I think the people that are closest to me really know who I am and what I’m about and what I want to bring to this world. That’s definitely not something I want to pride myself on, and the image that I have right now is something I can only strive to get better. That’s not who I want to be. I want to be someone who can be a role model to kids and to everyone for that matter.”

Chicago Sun-Times Tazer, on the other hand, talked about his concussion like a... well, like a stubborn Tazer:
"I think it was known for a couple games I was playing through some issues, playing with some issues," Toews said. "I wasn't feeling like myself, and to me, I look back, and if I felt that way today I would still give an effort to try and play through it. It didn't feel like it was enough, my body wasn't telling me that 'OK, it's time to quit, this isn't working.'"
