Emotional Rollercoaster...
So my family actually left today. They really left last night but I called my dad about 5 minutes after they left and asked them if they wouldnt mind coming back and spending the day with me. My dad agreed wholeheartly. It was really emotional yesterday, the water works were def. on. Its just really hard to leave the people who know you best for a place you hardly know. They will be sincerely missed.
On a lighter note though i did have a fabulous time last nite. Me, Bob, Brenda, Rebecca, and Gale (all jan. freshies too) decided to go to dinner and just go exploring. Then we all came back to my room to get out of the cold. We went to watch Meet the Fockers in another freshman dorm after that. By 11:30 I was so exhuasted my eyes kept closing and closing so I came back to my dorm and hung out with my roommate before collapsing on my bed. I def. have to get used to my new schedule. I am so tired, one reason being that it gets pitch black here by 4:45, its insane, and another reason is just because this week has been really really emotional, really takes it out of you. Tonight me and some other jan. freshies are taking part in welcome weekend activites, we are going to see "Memoirs of a Giesha" in the Boston Commons. Tomorrow is the men's hockey game against BU, its a big rivalry so it should be awesome. Im also going to walk around with Bob and find our classes. i dont want to be the freshman on mon who has the map and has to ask for directions. LOL! I miss you all in GA beyond words. letters ill be coming soon. Love you all.
